I have had this gun with a 28in barre for several years now. I use it for Clays and Skeet. I put about 250 rounds through it a month and have had no issues. HOWEVER, handleing the gun with your hands on the receiver will eventually wear off the Case Hardened finnish.
@Huntingpros
@Huntingpros 10 күн бұрын
I noticed that with mine as well. Honestly, adds character to the gun and speaks to the memories made. I have been using mine for over 10 years shooting over my hunting dogs. Definitely lots of memories made with this little double.

Man , i remember as a kid back in the 70s literally chasing schools of mackerel up and down the local wharf on our bicycles to get ahead of the and get jig hooks in the water , some times as many as 3 jigs and get a crack at them as they chased schools of kaplin. The waters were full of both of them back then. No size limits , the small 'tinkers" were always better eating i thought.

nice mud brook trout you guys caught there.. I have been trolling a local lake over here on Newfoundland ..I only get three or four a trip ..anywhere from half a pound to one pound though.. water level is up in the banks and in to the base of the trees... fish are not biting strong ..most likely bloated from feeding .. also we have a superstition over here about wind direction ..and pretty much every fishable day the wind is headed in the wrong direction...i am hoping to get another trip soon if wind co-operates!
@Huntingpros
@Huntingpros Ай бұрын
Never heard of a wind superstition! Thanks for the comment. No monsters during our trip, but great trout for the pan. Our water is actually low here I find… I went to a local brook I normally fish a few weeks back and it was only half way up my shin. Normally it would be chest deep…
