RETRO MADE A VIDEO ABOUT MY GAME WHAT THE?!? Anyway thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed the weird units and strategizing! (Also I tested it and catapult anvil does work, its even reliable if you put some other projectile below the anvil so you dont have to deal with the rediculous timing, I havent seen this before, solid long range burst damage, love seeing people find unexpected strats in my game) Also also better upgrade text change highlighting would be nice, could be difficult to automaticly detect though Ill see what I can do there ...

As a programmer I immediately think of a git diff. Something that is removed is red in the first text and new stuff is green in the second text. Great game and I really which you succeed with it!

Loving this game! I had a hard crash when using multiple [temporal distortion] w/ [eye of souls]. Idk if there was any other weird stuff at play on the enemy side since it hard crashed. But multiple 20 second triggers happening simultaneously might be a niche case you aren't handling.

Would you be able to show tooltips for spawned units? I was using an eye container yesterday and it said it spawned a broken eye on destruction. I think I lost because a dozen of them broke at the same time and seemed to nuke my leader lmao. But I didn't find out what the broken eye actually does. Nevermind. It looks like Reto figured it out.

Love that this game's getting some more traction, it's *absurdly* deep. There's something like 500 cubes and I don't think any two of my runs have been remotely similar!

You can use excavate to kill ants, everything is a cube in this game not just cube shaped things, so each ant is considered a cube to the excavate spell meaning it will kill them pretty efficiently

More episodes would be great. On runs without the anvil you can use the excavate above a mob to damage it instead of just for digging.

I would love to see more Cube Chaos!!!!! I didn't hear any suggestions aside from highlighted text during upgrades, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Focusing on mechanics, especially for a game still in development, really makes it easier for devs to update.

Please make a series ;d this is soo cool, I want to see how it plays in later stages, if the AI is any good, because so far it seemed kinda easy,

The AI can be kinda weird. Like there are times when it'll just not do much, or do things like drop spikes on its own head (which I'm guessing is a bug), but then other times it gets super nasty (particularly during boss encounters) and you'll have quite the uphill battle. You never quite know what's going to happen. Curses and such that you'll get through any given playthrough can also really mess with you, and there's difficulty upgrades you'll unlock by winning runs (like in most deckbuilders). Overall the challenge level jumps all over the place, it's very unpredictable, but in a good way, at least in my opinion.

The idea of this is awesome, but I feel like its "depth over polish" design went just a little **too** hard. Like, it doesn't need fancy graphics, but trying to make everything out of 8x8 pixels (idk if that's actually the size, not the point) makes it harder to instantly recognize what things do. Similarly (like you were having issues with at the end with upgrades), it could use a programmer-to-english translation of what things do. It's so nice to be able to know exactly how things will affect the game, but sometimes, you just need a two-word explanation.
