Just a message to say hey and thankyou for sharing your time with us all! I've just finished your book..loved it! I like that your personality comes through just as strong in your book as it does here..it's great! I have a tattoo saying I am enough on my shoulder for years as I know I've never felt that I am and this has caused so many problems in my life. You stating 'we are already enough' as a running theme throughout your book along with all the reasons why we are and how we lost sight of that is incredible. Your book has brought New life to my tattoo and I wanted to say thankyou so so much for that! I now feel equipped to be true to myself FINALLY! Ima bout to get me a hourglass for my room! Just thankyou sir! Lots of love and blessings x

Not that I'm a relationship expert at all lol but I think if you find the right partner you will want to do those things with them (even after a long day or week). You will either find the energy and it won't feel so much like a 'chore' or you'll be in sync/communicate with each other on when you do/don't want to do things.

You are struggling w business owner/CEO problems. Next issue will be no being able to connect with the average person, loneliness from being on top, and seeing the reality of a lot of areas in life. Solutions (From what I have found): Relearn surface topics and making conversations about others, get a dog or pet (does help), and understanding there is still joy to be found in life even when "the curtain is pulled back." Love your work, keep it up!

Hey Steve amazing podcast! I hear you talk about urgent vs important- you’re very self aware- have you considered prioritizing ‘the important’(your important) and refining which ‘urgent’ you respond to- simply because some urgents are not yours or they can be delegated. I think your podcast quest is sorely needed in our society and I find you candid, introspective and articulate- amazing combination!! Thank you!

Great podcast again Steven, thank you. Out of interest have you ever used a personal trainer for the gym, or is it a case of challenging yourself to push through on your own (the greatest returns as you say) ? I know I cannot train on my own, so I don't even attempt to try. I either use a PT or go to a class. Having that accountability gives me the push I need to turn up.

Hi Steven, while trying to go to sleep I was actually thinking that it would be a great idea if every few months or so, you would choose a simple person from your audience to came in the studio and interview you. For me personally, even if it's great to listen to all the bright people that you bring to the studio, I think you are the most important, because you get knowledge and vibes from all those bright minds. I would definitely love that type of interaction and I hold the belief that simple can be bright in the right circumstances (exactly as you pointed in this episode, being in the right environment). You never know how you can end up finding more brightness 🌞 Wish you all the success in the world. With great admiration, Catalina.❤

I admire you, obsessed with listening to your podcasts. So I feel timid and hesitant in any negative comments. When you advise that sales are all important, I thought you would be too kind to sell something to say an elderly person on a small pension when she can’t afford double glazing etc and is hesitant to say no to someone who is telling me I should say yes. There is a fine line in satisfaction in making a sale or not when you could have possibly caused grief to a weak impoverished person. ... having got this off my chest I still think you are amazing and I watch every podcast and am still in awe of you.

Great as always. Your segment at 23:32 intrigued me. As a 19 year old student I often think what is it I am inspiring for? I wonder if I did suddenly receive a pot of gold would that then equal complete happiness. Clearly it wouldn't but I still think the luxury it would offer would in itself be somewhat of a motivator by the enjoyment you'd feel. The idea of entering the rat race that is full time work is one of my biggest dreads, something I am sure you experienced too!

It's not my reality yet, but I learned a really valuable lesson from an uncle of mine who I looked up to a lot. In order for you to stay grounded, always do this litmus test. One day when you can dine on a plate of food of more than £100 every night, can you still get excited with the kid who is raving about his first McDonald's meal? Check where your level of empathy is for those who aren't on your level necessarily. Extremely paraphrased, but that's the crux of the lesson. Enjoyed the section about things you miss from being poor.

Great episode Steve, very valuable lessons as always. I made the mistake to take the second L at the beginning of the pandemic and I blamed everything and everyone for the current situation but in the second part of last year I took charge of my emotions and my thinking and improved my response and ever since I accepted what's happening my business performance took off and my motivation is through the roof every day. I know that this crisis will pass eventually, in the meantime I will focus on expanding the business and improving my life. In regards to the pre order, I have placed mine ages ago so how will you be contacting us in regards to being added to the group?

Interesting : again, I have flipped back to watch an earlier podcast , having only found you maybe. A month ago. I feel like you have grown so much in these last two years …..eg “ relationships need compromise “or so I’ve been told “ 🤣🤣🤣” Really like the fact that you still try to remain humble …. It is super hard (I imagine) to remain grounded and humble when you succeed so much . I still want to know how you have a wonderful speaking voice when you were brought up in Devon, I have relies down there who have wonderful Devon accents…clearly you don’t have that !!! Thanks for the hard work on this and the other pod casts to you and your team .😊

Here’s an older person (female - married mid 30s - unfortly Divorced 59, 1 child in early 20s finishing Uni) - caught you on London Live which brought me here. Love your self assessment at a young age -achieved so much - yet still feeling unfulfilled in some ways. Yes the moments of joy are small things eg - yr child’s success where you may have contributes some early experiences that will help them in life. Moments with other people when you actually felt something really touched you deeply or gained some insight into them when they were modest & honest. Making connections with people, new people & trying to see if they think similarly, had similar or different experiences - both learn from how others deal wt life. Even my daughter having new conversations whilst at Uni… a new type of stage of relationship wt yr family members. Do keep in touch wt your family…. Do mainly in person but during lockdown got to have some insightful ways to get to know people asking each other questions, chatting on WhatsApp - we kept each other going & can meet in person in time being better in understanding friends. Weekend walks wt people in areas of London not visited before - health walks - but book ahead… every 2 weeks so a plan made to wake weekends & go, maybe end with an incentive like lunch …. Yes some friends may not be easy to be with …… if not feel a positive connection … & you may have to let go….. they may not be at the same stages of life. Carry on wt yr insights, esp to yr generation…

After realising the difficulty in being the best person you can be in every interaction and struggling with this yourself as the PA dog food example went, do you not empathise with Man vs Food guy rather than writing him off as an A hole? We never know what is going on in other people's lives, his response could have been absolutely understandable even if very unfortunately timed. Love your podcasts, this seemed a little out of character and I'd love to see Man vs food on Diary of a CEO in the future.
