I installed this kit in half day solo in my garage . I would recommend installing front and rear adjustable trac bars and geometry correction brackets . Good budget system . Looks amazing with 35s

how could you level the jeep with this kit? the front still looks lower than the rear or is it just me?

It is not necessary, but recommended for the best suspension geometry correction and drive quality.

What does this do for the handling? Does it get more bouncy or feel like your floating?

You will need to replace your rear sway bars, get a track bar, and replace the front drive shaft. With all the parts and professional install you are looking at about $1,200-$1,300 total.

Not only is CHAD incorrect, they didn't even answer your question. No, you don't need to purchase those extra components to use this kit. That would defeat it's purpose of being a budget option. If you want the full monty that ^ describes, you'll want to look at a more involved kit, and less this option. Read the customer reviews on Extremeterrain.com for a better idea on it's handling characteristics, but understand there will be a little more "flighty-ness" regardless since you're raising the center of gravity, but considering some beefed up steering components to add as your budget allows will help mitigate that to a small degree.

Installed by itself - this kit will definitely leave your factory control arms at a not-so-great angle. But considering it is only $160 it leaves a ton of room for extra parts! I'd highly recommend pairing this with a set of adjustable front lower control arms and an adjustable track bar to keep your suspension geometry in-spec. -Zach

Thanks for the quick reply! Anything else that would give a good bang for the buck as far as geometry is concerned? Sway bar links maybe? I watched your video on everything that goes into the suspension and there was a lot! The previous owner of my jeep just had 3" coil spacers...

@@isaacharris5209 Some longer sway-bar end links will definitely help too if the previous owner did not replace them! Depending on your budget you could also look into replacing the shock spacers that this kit has for proper shocks made for a 3 Inch Lift. And if you want to invest even more into your suspension - you could honestly look at a set of 8 adjustable control arms instead of just getting adjustable front-lower arms. A full set of 8 will allow for better articulation off-road, and a smoother and more-stable ride on-road due to the improved suspension angles.
