ZZBlue Comet , I don’t think they would classify it as a banger because that means a heavier type song. Great song? Yes, but a “banger” no. It’s like calling Pink Floyd headbanger. That’s what banger means. Plenty of hard bands can’t hold a candle to PINK FLOYD. It’s a categorization not just it’s a good song.

The 1990s Chicago Bulls' theme song is actually called "Sirius" and segues into "Eye in the Sky", the title track from their 1982 album. You should also check out the instrumental "Lucifer", from their 1979 album *Eve* (fun fact: that album's theme is women, and late singer Eric Woolfson's (1945-2009) mother in law at the time is named Eve); "Prime Time" and "Don't Answer Me", both from the Alan Parsons Project's 1984 album *Ammonia Avenue*; "Time" (which was both my mother's favorite song and the theme of my high school senior class yearbook) from 1980's *Turn of a Friendly Card*, an album about gambling; and the instrumental "Mammagamma" a great road trip song from the album *Eye in the Sky*. Hope I didn't ramble too long and bore anyone.

I so love how you two break down lyrics as well as the melody. This wasn’t my favorite choice when I saw it on the feed but because I trust your opinions I listened. You continually deliver introspective thought to each and every song.

"Tales of Mystery and Imagination". My favorite Alan Parsons album, also my introduction to them. It is an amazing concept album that is based on the poetry of Edgar Alan Poe. After I heard it; I was hooked on their music. They were pretty prolific for a while.

Wanting something heavier from APP, you're wanting "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You" and "Games People Play". Two rather well known instrumentals are "Lucifer" and "Mammagamma". Lastly, a slower but a great retro "wall of sound" production with "Don't Answer Me".

My first year in college. This was extremely popular (I grew up in the Netherlands), and new for all of us who were too young for Pink Floyd. I would say this fitted in with the ELO and Supertramp style, symphonic rock etc.

Great reaction guys. Was just listening to some APP last week, revisiting some favorites after hearing about the recent passing of APP guitar player, Ian Bairnson. So many amazing musicians within "The Project" on the studio albums and was lucky enough to see them live a number of times over the years. Such a great, deep rabbit hole the APP catalogue.

Played in a cover band back in the 80s-90s. "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You" was one we used as a set opener and it was awesome. Listen to it and picture yourself as the guy running the light board and you'll see why it was a good opener. The bass line is great and would get the audience moving for the rest of the set.

This was the background music for me while growing up. It didn't enthuse me enough to buy it and listen to it over and over. But I didn't mind listening to it when friends played it or when it came on the radio. It could stem from my state of mind at that time. I need to study the lyrics now that I'm an adult. I prefer Supertramp.
