As a bedrock player Im always so existed when they added little details In updates, such as fallen trees, and the dye in the cauldrons, and had no idea that Java wasn't getting any of that. To me, it seems that they don't give enough improvements to game details on java. Java has lots of huge pros but I guess the pros to bedrock are the depth of details.

The feature I want most is armor hot swapping. In Bedrock, if you're holding any piece of armor in your hotbar and you right-click, it automatically swaps with the piece you're wearing. Makes the Elytra so much more convenient since you're not opening the inventory constantly or just going without a chest plate. Not as useful early game as say bone mealing sugar cane but makes late game with Elytra so convenient.

Two things I really want to see from bedrock is the ability to dye water in cauldrons and the snow mechanics in bedrock. The dyeable cauldron water is intended for dying leather armor, but it’s also great for decoration. I’ve used it to make things like fantasy looking potion cauldrons without having to actually brew potions for it, and one time I used a red dyed cauldron in a wine cellar to make it look like they were making wine down there. And bedrock has stackable snow layers that let snow pile up to like half a block tall naturally, and when it’s snowing, all the leaves in the snowing biomes turn white and it looks really pretty. On top of that, snow layers on trees will have little show particles drip through leaves, kinda like how water or lava drips through blocks. I much prefer Java, but it’s little things like those that I really miss.

You just forgot to mention the Wither Bedrock one is overpowered compared to java. It has twice as much life (600 life points instead of 300), a much more powerful Intelligence and does things like summon Wither skeletons, charge against the player, and exploding three times: When summoned, when reaches its second stage and when it dies. It would be really nice to see this very much harder Wither in Java.

i have different Stronghold Village Connection theory. Villagers lived during Ancient Builders times, and they welcomed them to their villages with open hands, just as they do with us. Ancient Builders thought that under the villages would be perfect place to open End Portal, something they tried for a long time, which later served as great escape from disaster from Ancient Builders are Endermen Theory. i believe Some escaped to the end for the theory to be right.

To get back what was said in 5:55, in Minecraft Java, it is possible to give armorstands arms but that would require you to use cheats. This command makes it possible: "/execute as @e[type=armor_stand] run data modify entity @s ShowArms set value 1b" Older versions may or may not be compatible with the syntax of the command. Every entity in the game has attributes (nbt data) stored like for example armorstands. All armorstands in Java when placed have the default value of the attribute "ShowArms" set to '0b' thus hiding/disabling the arms. But when the previously mentioned command is executed, it grants all currently placed armorstands in the world arms (sets the attribute "ShowArms" of them to 1b). And yes after that you can obviously make them hold tools or weapons in their hands (just like in Bedrock).

I'm surprised the Trident Killer didn't make you list! I know that most Java players don't even know about them so it would be great to spread the word...... push a thrown trident with a piston or trapdoor and mobs that get in the way are dead + the player who threw the Trident gets xp points..... even more if you're holding a looting 3 sword!! We can't set up things on a computer to swing a sword for our mib farms, but we can just stand next to a Trident killer 😁 My personal favourite is pairing a mob farm with a stone generator, put Mending on a pickaxe =infinite stone and you just have to hold you trigger down with a hair tie 😂👍👍👍

@@alicerowe4097 yeah, it works because the game checks to see if the trident should be moving when the trapdoor moves. That's enough for the trident to do damage. It's very fast but Sean is correct, a piston-based kill chamber is better for most use cases. Trident killers have a surprising amount of diversity in their design. They can enable Impaling V to kill even faster (which improves rates in many farms & can reduce lag), and they can use water streams to pipe XP and items wherever you want. Silentwisperer's trident killers are fantastic for beginners, and his design from December 2020 is the one I use most frequently. For most purposes there's really no reason not to use it.

The two features on want in bedrock is the sweeping edge enchant and being able to dual wield with any item The reason I want these are 1) the sweeping edge enchant is the second best enchant in the game as it makes killing groups of mobs more easier and it’s really helpful on a mob farm, instead of spam killing all the mobs individually you can kill them all at once which is really useful 2) being able to dual wield with more items would be easier for mining or building, if you want to build something you can having blocks in one hand and a pic axe in the other so if you mess up you can easily break it without switching items all the time, it would also be really useful when mining as you can hold a pic axe and place torches at the same time instead of switching between the two, it would also make repairing items easier as you need to switch to the item to repair it every time you kill a mob which can be hard sometimes but if you have a sword that kills the mob and have another item in the off hand you can repair both at the same time

As a java main, if BE had the neat things that JE has like hardcore mode as a feature altogether, the worldgen customization/challenge options, (a lot) more gamerule sliders on world creation, the ability to dual-wield blocks and repeatable achievements (and A LOT more of them) by world for non-console players, I’d definitely play it a lot more often. On the other hand, I wish JE cauldrons actually had a use apart from lavagens and that our tipped arrows weren’t so expensive nobody uses them.

Just wanna comment that in Java, the unique fish name in bucket is also present. It's how I made an aquarium full of unique fishes. This is not a bedrock exclusive thing. If anything the java version is way more detailed because it specifies what primary and sub color the fish has

By far my favorite Bedrock feature. It's way better than sweeping edge: -remote operated -impaling V-compatible - can pipe items or XP wherever you want via water streams - doesn't require an autoclicker - seamlessly integrated into farms via redstone mechanics It genuinely feels like it was an intended feature even though it wasn't -- it's a core gameplay mechanic and feels very satisfying to use. There's a lot of diversity in the ways you can design them, and they buff literally all of our mob farms. I even use them to farm iron faster because they clear the golem's mob cap faster than lava can.

Missed a big feature when talking about ravagers and snow layers. Snow layers can be broken by pistons and drop snowballs. This makes for small and fast snowball farms that use snow golems. Also, ravagers can break snow layers. So you can have a set up where a ravaged breaks snow layers every game tick for the fastest snowball farm ever

The tridentes are also very powerful as well, since we can make trident killers, where the trident kills the mobs, doesn't use durability, and COUNTS AS if THE PLAYER was killing the mobs itself. That means that you get experience and if you have a looting sword, it gets applied as well.

There's actually a bug where creative mode block mechanics bleed over into survival mechanics: the speed mining glitch. You can mine blocks faster by getting out of range to break them, pressing down the button to break them, and then walking towards them. It allows you to cut through terracotta or even deepslate like it's butter, literally breaking blocks at walking speed.

Mojang also stated there is a lot more to the story and more and more of the story will be released to tell more of that story, but as for the strongholds there connected to the wither.

I like both versions for different reasons. Bedrock's tipped arrows feel a lot more fair and the dyed water leather system is very nice, and the ability to build forward on bridges. Java has axes as a fun weapon (I always preferred slow powerful weapons) and the banners on shields/ability to hold up shields without crouching and you can dual wield (though for weapons the only functionality is repairs).
