In this tutorial, you will learn how to make interactive Google Slides for your students. This is like a hyperdoc in Google Slides. Include videos, links, images. Link assessments from Google Forms and direct links to assignment in Google Classroom. Learn how to make a table of contents that directly links to other slides and so much more!
Here's a guide to the videos on my channel: bit.ly/EZEdTechYT

Linking objects in your presentations to slides in the same presentation ( 49:38 ) I thought I had Slides figured out, but you implement so many different and unique tools. Total game-changer. Thank you!

Can't thank you enough!!! I'm homeschooling my 3rd grade niece who is currently hooked on Jeopardy, so I wanted to do a review of what we covered last semester with a trivia game. I had no clue how to make the links, and this was my guiding light!!! thank you thank you!!!

Mac users can make transparent background PNG images with the magic wand tool in preview. Something else I would also add is that if you select the empty master slide once I believe it should use it for future slides so you don't need to delete the text boxes on new slides

Very nifty video. Always looking for new ideas (though I don't teach in school). I did not know to double click the outline to crop -- very handy! A couple of suggestions: 1. Why not just add text directly to the shape rather than having to manage a separate text box on top of the shape? You can still format the text as you would in a text box, but it's in a single place now. 2. When you first create the presentation, change the layout of the slide to Blank. Then you have an empty slide, and when you add a new slide, it uses the same layout so you don't have to constantly delete the boxes. Hope that helps.

This was incredibly helpful! I’m SO glad you made it ~ Thank you! I just have two questions: 1. Is there a specific reason that you choose to save images as .png vs .jpg? 2. You didn’t use the Group feature. Is there a specific reason that you chose not? Thanks again!
@EZEdTech
@EZEdTech 4 жыл бұрын
PNGs use lossless compression so they are better quality than JPGs, which use lossy, so as a rule I use PNGs when I can. As for the grouping, I really should use that feature more. Sometimes I get annoyed when I change my mind about groupings and have to ungroup, but there are certainly cases where it is easier. Personal preference/habit, I guess. I'm glad you enjoyed my video!

Another reason to use PNG over JPG, say you want something to remain transparent. When you're saving the images as a PNG, you can keep that transparency while a JPG does not.

This is Great! I created my Bitmoji after watching your previous video, I have started to teach distance learning because of the situation. I really love your presentation, I am trying to post an image with the audio link and I will see. Thank you so much.

Loving learning how to use Google Slides as an interactive activity. However, in presentation mode, when I click any where on the slide (not on the hyperlink), the slide will just go to the next following slide. How can I "lock" the rest of the slide and only the hyperlinks can be clicked? What am I not doing? Help!

I’m in my 60s and learning from your videos as well quite a challenge for my age group consider a adult channel as well some cannot use Facebook or email. Or post on 2 different channels not much difference in teaching a 5 year old and a 60 or 80 year old many have just missed out on the computer era Quite a few left school at 14 years old that was just the era. Most too proud to admit they need help so therefore simplified lessons would be fantastic. Keep up the good work
