We hade a sweet black lab that one of our rescue cats absolutely bonded with as a kitten. Our lab was so nice we could have brought in a wild rabbit and she would have licked it. Unfortunately they both are gone now but we still have all the happy memories and 5 rescue cats to deal with now lol.

Love your videos. Cats are so smart, my daughter had a dog just like yours and when she brought a new kitten home (to add to all the other babies). Her dog would try and dominate and within a few days the new kitty sussed him and used to tease him relentlessly. Cats are so smart but do love our doggie fur babies, bless 'em

This is the difference between a dog and a cat. Just when you think you have your house...animal safe, or have things they leave alone, with a dog....along comes the cat. That has almost 0 boundaries. Nothing is safe. 😻 I'm so glad they became good friends. Good job 👍

Cats have plenty of boundaries. They just speak a different language than dogs or humans. Not sure what you point is here but kittens do have boundaries especially when their momma cat and human teach them.

@@PursuingHeaven No no no no no. We have both. Dogs and cats. More cats than dogs. There is NOTHING, safe from a cat. Even rooftops! Dogs are more than satisfied on the ground, the floor,the couch, a chair or two, etc. Cat's have no boundaries unless you close everything off from them. Nicknacks, cups, saucers, jars on a counter top, everything, is a target with cats. Maybe kittens with mamas have some regulated moves. But once out of the nest, even kittens investigate EVERYTHING. I'm not down on it. I love all animals. I was just commenting because they made a point about the difference in having a dog then suddenly getting a cat. 😻

It makes me both sad and happy watching that adorable kitten scoot about. I had a Bengal for 17 years. She passed away 18 years ago, but I sometimes hear her purring by my head just as I'm falling asleep. Bengals are not for first-time cat owners though. As you mentioned they have absolutely inexhaustible energy and need a lot of stimulation, but she was the love of my life and I will love her forever.

OMG, reminds me of when I introduced my cat and dog. She was a rescue who was 3 weeks old. He the dog was a high energy jack Russell, I sat her on the step and looked at him and I said “just a baby be careful” and she ruled his life from that moment on. Til he passed at 17, she is now almost 21.

They are both so beautiful and very blessed to have you. I have been rescuing most of my life and I would not trade one experience. They are all and have all been blessings in my life. The joy they have brought me, the lessons they have teached me, the love we have shared, and the tears I have shed from the loss when it's their time to go home. All of it is a blessing. yeah figures you noticed already how energetic bengals are :D that's why you usually keep them at pairs as otherwise they can get bored and get bad behaviours... the dog alone sadly will not cut it and even if you work from home... they are just powerhouses and need an equal to get rid of it

You guys have done such a wonderful job acclimating your pets to each other. I love your videos. Nova is such a beautiful Bengal! And Ezra is adorable! My Bengals were trying to get on top of my flat screen TV and I knew they were determined so we devised a frame of sorts that fits at the back of the TV to prevent the inevitable from happening. The wood frame is attached to a wood base and the TV sits on top of the base. The top, horizontal part of the frame is a 6" wide landing perch so when the cats are up there, it looks like they are sitting on top of this very thin TV. The frame is cut out in places to follow the back contours of the TV and thus stabilizing it from falling forward as well. If you can't stop the behavior, you figure out a way to safely accommodate it:)

I/we had a Cat and a Dog. The Cat was established before ther Dog. The funniest scenario was the Television which the Cat often lay on top of with a mobile tail. You have never seen anything more hilarious than a Dog trying to work itself uop to leaping up onto the TV. I also worked Shifts so went to bed off of Night shift. I seemed to always wake with my legs pinned by the bed clothes held down on one side by the Cat and the other side by the Dog who gave furtive glances at the Cat when he saw that I had woken giving me sad eyes.
