So very, very pleased a Patreon account has been created for Ezra, Nova, and Conan!!!! I want to support your channels financially and doing so by allowing the ads to run the required minimums doesn't accomplish that goal since creators receive little ad revenue per viewer. (And joining a KZfaq channel does not result in ad-free videos.) **To those who join Patreon with its ad-free videos:** I encourage you to "view" each KZfaq video on mute as you watch the same Patreon uploaded video. Doing this allows Patreon members to see videos without ad interruption while, at the same time, generating ad revenue - and views - for Julia and Roman.

@@wendyweaver8749 Oh Good. A while back I thought that I can't spend all day long looking at Cat Videos, and so I decided I would only follow a few. Nova is the cutest little Bengal, and, well, what man of Anglo Saxon extraction doesn't like dogs like Exra, Then when they added Abyssinian Conan (I've only seen them at Cat Shows) well, I thought I was going to miss them. Thank you so much for relieving my worries and setting me straight. Thumbs Up to you!

In our house we have 2 cats, 2 dogs, 100 or so birds(all rescues including the birds) and 4 grandkids all of whom love your vids.Sadly with all the mouths to feed there is no spare cash. All the best to you both and your furry babies on your new venture without us.

Totally agree. There's an *enormous* number of animal-focused channels, so it's difficult to be seen, but my kids and I watch tons of animal videos, and Julia and Roman are definitely top-tier creators. As much as I despise YT shorts, that's probably a good way for them to get more eyes on the channel, though part of what makes them great is the way they construct their longer videos. Hope the channel continues to grow in any case.

I don't understand why people are unsubscribing. Also, videos on Patreon play on KZfaq, they're simply unlisted. But again, no one is forcing you to become a Patreon member and they WILL continue posting on KZfaq. People need to eat. What's the big deal?

I agree, don’t understand why people are unsubscribing, Julia and Roman are very talented filmmakers and the content is very entertaining, from my perspective there is not “enough” to justify a separate subscription at this time, eg 4 videos 20 min each would change my mind

I love this channel, but I also love other channels…. I pay £16 a month not to have the annoying ads interrupting my videos, there are 3 other channels that I have followed that have gone the Patreon route, I have not subscribed to them via Patreon. Will it just be the Ezra, Nova, Conan content on Patreon or will you migrate the other channels too?

@Bernadette-nb2xw - I considered paying KZfaq for ad-free videos. I chose not to pay the fee because creators receive even less from the collected fee than they do from ads viewed for the minimums (watch entire ad if 30 seconds or less; watch at least 30-seconds for ads over 30 seconds). For exceptional channels, such as this one, I will join their Patreon account because I want to support such creators financially.

@@wendyweaver8749 Hi, I agree Julia and Roman are exceptional content creators, and I would/will support them directly when there is more content, I know this is a chicken and egg situation, at this point the economics don’t stack up for me, my £16 You tube membership covers all my subscriptions and also you tube seems to be a very robust platform, I have not experienced any down time and although the perception is that there might be too much governance around content , maybe that’s a good thing

@robert3169 - Patreon is not a social media platform since it is restricted. I.e., you can only view Patreon uploads for the Patreon accounts that you join. This means non-members cannot post comments, a tremendous plus for Patreon creators and members. I have Twitter and Instagram accounts for viewing purposes only because so many online news articles have embedded Twitter and Instagram videos. I am on Facebook solely to follow family members. I have never posted to any of my own accounts.
