I think you mean SPD Performance. Yeah, it may only be a true 3" system instead of an adapted 3" belled up to 4" at the flange. But it's still 304 SS, has a better/deeper tone, and there are 3 resonator options (Delete, Stage 1, Stage 2).... and it's in the same general price range & made in the U.S.A., not freakin' Canada.

Sounds like a Cummins 6 Diesel after a straight pipe modification. I just put this on my 2016 2.7 Lariat and it is REALLY Loud! I will give it a couple of days but I was a bit torqued when I took off the factory system to find it want from cat 3" to 2.25" to muffler to 3" out.... WTH??? Why did Ford not just use 3" all the way through the whole system? I am contemplating getting a 3" resonator delete pipe and putting the factory back on. The interior drone at highway speeds is really loud. Pros: Throttle response is actually much better and there is a lot less lag. The power after 4k rpm is also really noticeable. Cons: Much louder than expected. Interior noise is very noticeable. The video is spot on as to the installation and mine took 1.25 hours without lift (Used a jack and a block of wood on the forward leaf-spring mount to raise the chassis to allow the axle bend to get through).

How's the low end/torque, backflow noise, etc with 4"? I know that milage goes down. Then again, who cares...getting 16 mpg. I'm not really after a super aggressive sound. Just a little more grumble then stock. I have a K&N 6300 series in it now. I'd like to keep it around 4-425 HP, with intake and exhaust....and not make too much racquet. Any suggestions?

Ecoboost with only a tuner making 500 ft pounds to the back wheels... you can keep your 5.0. Put some straight pipes a cold air intake and a tune on that 5.0 and you might make 350 ft pounds to the tires 🤣 My ecoboost goes whooshy whooshy

I had played with my 2.7 ecoboost exhaust... running one like this at 3.5".. it was awesome, in so many ways... faster spool and power, it helped a lot! I only found a " drone" sound in cab at 70 and 80.. and we go on 12 hour trips a lot so... I wen to a duel set up with smaller pipes... I lost some power and don't like the sound as much as I did before... so, I am sure this 4" would solve the drone issue & would help with power spool up ... love the video and will be getting the product from y'all as soon as I save up the $$$ ( & I have to say your price is awesome!) If you have a ecoboost I suggest going with this, I loved mine... and it wasn't as good ... lol .. it's a good mod for a turbo!

The exhaust we installed in this video will only fit a 2015-2017 EcoBoost. But we have plenty of exhaust options that will fit your setup.

2011 f150 ecoboost here and have yet to hear ANY brand aftermarket exhaust that sounds good enough to install. I'll just stay stock, thank you.

I think the twin turbo ecoboost is the coolest engine put in the F150. To me there is something about turbos and trucks that just go together. Wtih that said, I agree with you. The 3.5 (or 2.7) twin turbo sounds like hot garbage with any aftermarket exhaust.

Then you haven’t heard the corsa or borla exhaust in person. My buddy had the corsa exhaust and put on some sdp turbo flanges and that thing is a neatly sounding

Im debating this vs the corsa db. Im leaning more towards a performance increase over sound. The db only comes in 3” though. which is same as stock. Im in a 2016 2.7 What do yall think?

a 3" exhaust with the 2.7 is probably fine, but larger wont hurt.

I purchased this exhaust from Cj and I am curious to know, how you were able to get the exhaust to point almost at level. Mine is facing downward or almost at a angle. After installing I did notice a drop in torque and hp. Also I do get drone in the cabin as well. Overall nice looking and sounding exhaust.

No need for a lift or a jack I did mine with the truck on the ground lower your spare tire and the back half with the muffler on it will come out no problem.

No cutting Required on short bed/short wheel base. As you can bolt right outta the box. They do include an extra piping for longer wheelbase trucks tho

I am assuming MBRP and you didn't test this much on a 2.7L. I bought this based a lot on this review. The exhaust drones horribly. It's so loud that I hear it echo off buildings. It drones so bad that I immediately built a helmholtz resonator to quiet the drone at cruising rpms. But, it's still extremely loud. the drone in the cab was over 75 dB when rolling around town even. I'm gonna try it for a while, but probably go back to stock. Later on, I'll probably go with a flowmaster because I know it will be quieter and actually sound good. I'm thinking straight through exhaust like this just isn't ideal for most people. It's just crazy loud on the 2.7. It's at least twice as loud as the flowmaster 40 series I had on my old 4.0 Ranger. three times as loud as a flowmaster 50 series delta.

I just installed it on my 3.5. Ran it 3 days and couldn't handle the drone. I watched numerous install videos and all I can say is all these guys must be paid to say it sounds good and isn't too loud.

Am I the only one who hated the hanger system it came with??. Pain in the rear having some better hangers welded to the exhaust. Other than that it's okay. Still a quieter exhaust.

I think I'm going to regret buying the MBRP. Hear me out... I think the MBRP kit sounds nice. But ONLY when you do catless down pipes or high flow cat down pipes. With just the exhaust there is still to much rasp. Starting to wish I would have went with heart throb. But we will see. Not a terrible exhaust.

Isn't "aluminized" just aluminum plated steel? They just rust all to hell almost as fast as the old steel exhaust, especially in the salt and snow. Stainless is the only way to go now days. Geees!

You are correct, if you live in very rainy area, or where they put salt on the it's highly recommend to get a stainless system.

That rust on those few parts is completely normal. Any truck or vehicle for that matter driven under normal conditions will show rust on the unprotected steel components under a truck like exhaust hangers and U-Joints to name a few.

icryevritime your kidding right it is a v6 twin turbo charged beast it produces around 10 horsepower less than the v6 and has around 30 more torque and 3 to 4 better mpg and can be modded for horsepower easier than the 5.0

The Ecoboost also maintains 90% of its power from 1700 rps to redline! That's why it is so freaking good!
