I have an 18 3.5, I love the truck more & more each day, the only con of the truck is that it doesn’t have that beautiful 5.0 sound, BUT man that truck runs! 21mpg in a 400hp truck is a beautiful thing!

Tell that to a tt 5.0 you'd get smoked. I have a 18 SHO that'd smoke your truck easy and I've been walked by 5.0 2 door f150s with bolt ons. My SHO has 450hp and 480tq.

@@unknownunknown3025 The twin turbo 3.5L F150 Limited was the second fastest production truck only losing out to the SRT-10 RAM that hasn't been sold in years. A 3.5 with a high flow exhaust and a simple tune makes 500+ HP with 500+ ft lbs of torque. And that's without the other simple mods you can do to push for higher numbers.

Yup! The 3.5 is just a stronger engine. Faster 0-60, more torque, more towing capacity, better fuel economy.

All i did was remove muffler and resonator also out performance muffler and whalla it sounds great and was cheap.

Nice, it grew on me too.

I added a 4”. MBRP system on my 2014 Ford f150 3.5 ecoboost. I noticed you can hear the turbo whistle clearer. I love my truck!

@@RideTheEarthnow mine has some drone when pulling my parachute (pontoon boat) the transmission in tow haul stays in 8th gear. With my flat bed car hauler and quads it will go to 10th and doesn't have that drone very often.

That’s what I did to mine too I had to go to a 3” exhaust tho for back pressure mine came with an mbrp tho so I don’t know what is factory pipe size Sounds pretty good careful not to rob all your boost tho 😂😂😂

sorry for the late reply, normal driving it is not annoying at all. highway or city driving. you def hear it when you are on the gas. It is obviously a bit louder too when i am towing.

I got a 2012 3.5 eco boost and I just replaced my ignition coils and I raced my buddy who has a 5.0 f150 and his front bumper couldn’t even touch my back bumper. I got magnum flow for my exhaust and I like it, it’s not to loud but not too quite, again I love the sound of a 5.0 but I’m glad I got a 3.5. My buddy makes fun of me for my exhaust and I tell him yeah my exhaust may not sound as good as yours but I won’t even be able to hear yours when I’m 2 car lengths ahead of you😂.

Thanks I appreciate it. To answer your question. Yes air intakes and exhaust go very well together. Getting the air in and out quick!. My truck has the k&n intake on it with the pipes exhaust. The k&n video is on my channel too. Another fun, super cheap mod. No performance gain but fun turbo sounds is the VTA mod. Look that up on KZfaq there are a bunch of videos on it.

Yes it is a rhino rack. I pieced mint together from their website, I think American trucks might sell the full kit. I will have to look.

Yeah this company made them. I don't know if they still do. I don't see them on eBay anymore but I got it off of eBay. It was called Handkraftd 2015+ Ford F150 Steering Wheel - Black Perforated Leather/Red Stitch Very well made.

Corsa db sounds like the closest thing to a diesel as you are gonna get with 3.5 so good choice 👍

I have heard that is normal yes, and I believe it was a bit cooler outside as well. Did this video almost a year ago and the truck still runs great no issues.

That was my big question too and I am very happy with it. You can hear it when you are on the gas, or hauling something under load but just highway driving it is good. My wife is not bothered by it either and that is saying something ha ha ha.

@@RideTheEarthnow LOL!!! While I appreciate the offer and I know the install of the exhaust is done to perfection, I will pass at this time :). I do like your wheels, racks and color. I traded a Silver 2014 Raptor on this one, the new one is in Lead Foot Grey. It’s a cool color but it is kinda “monotone” I think I like the lighter colors a little better. At the moment I am driving a 2021 F150 loaner 2.7 eco boost and this thing is real quick!! I think the Raptors must be a lot heavier and probably the bigger tires but struggle to get 14mpg for a tank of gas. This 2.7 loaner is easily getting 23-24mpg!! Shocking!!!

Ha ha ha nice, and yeah that leadfoot Grey is one of my favorite colors. Enjoy that raptor!!. I went from a 2018 2.7 to a 2017 3.5. The 2.7 was no slouch bit the 3.5 just had more juice for towing and more payload.

In all honesty i would give pypes a call they have good customer service. I can probably explain how to look inside the muffler and possibly figure out which way to put it on but it will be hard to explain through the comments. I dont want to steer ya wrong. Give them a call.

It is not bad at all, I will say while going up hill with the pedal down you can hear it. I will say my family hasn't complained about it and I don't notice it. I still recommend 👍👍
