Any chance you could throw out a friendly challenge to a fellow KZfaqr & real life fighter pilot I subscribe to? Hasard Lee is the Air Force pilot I am referring to whom is currently serving&has flown both the F-16 & now the F-35. Think it would be a good collaboration, that could potentially boost both his along with your channels as I am a fan of both myself. Just a thought as I would love to hear you both goin over the tactical display afterwards, as it would be a tremendous treat to fans of both channels.

@Sayak Ray The F-22 has no answer for the Su-57's multiple band & aspect radars. This should make spotting the Raptor much easier at longer to medium distances. Coupled with IRST the Felon should also be able to spot IR signatures at closer ranges as well. The Su-57 is markedly more nimble than the Raptor albeit at the cost of bleeding energy. Not to mention the Su-57 may not be as ( All aspect ) stealthy as advertised and using your radars gives your location away to adversaries. It also depends on what weapons they use, scenarios and other mission support platforms. As for the J-20 reportedly India has indicated they are not nearly as stealthy as imagined not to mention the current engines are unreliable and underpowered.There are official reports from the Indian AF they were able to spot the J-20s near Tibet using their Su-30MKIs. Unless the Chinese were using reflectors to conceal true RCS. Not quite sure how you determined the Chengdu has a better radar than the F-22. Perhaps you are right. Alternatively: China and Russia waited 30 years to respond to the F-22 and are only marginally or moderately better in some aspects and much worse in others.

Given the performance of the F22 here is based on public info and its actually specs are classified, how much more frightening would it be IRL. The F22 pilots would have to make critical errors in BFM to get shot down, or run up against superior pilots in planes nearly as good. Su57 pilots would want to be on their game or they'd be saying hello to the ants.

Just watched The Fighter Pilot Podcast episode 61 about the F-22.... And the pilot interviewed basically confirmed that this is what the Raptor does IRL. Sounded like after his first few flights in the F-22, once he stopped trying to fly it like an F-15, it just dominates in any kind of maneuvering contest.

When I first saw the F-22A demo, my heart sank when he pitched up into the vertical, then stopped positive airspeed. "Damn, he's stalling." Nope, just messing with us. It hovered with the nose pointed in the vertical, then the pilot pushed the throttles forward, nosed over into straight and level flight like this is just normal. Then he did the pedal turn after doing some controlled summersaults, which was just ridiculous.

I still remember one of the early F22 dogfights with Fieste in the F22. GS was talking about where he thinks Fieste is at then looks to his left and sees him formed up on his wing. I still laugh at that one. The F22 is just absurd in its level of OP.

Growing up in Marietta, GA I got to witness f-22 Raptors flying just about every day and I LOVED it. Some of the pilots would put on their own little show at times and the maneuvers they can do is mind boggling they're my favorite fighter jet without a doubt.

The way the F-22 moves, your brain can't register it as real. It looks more like a programming sprite pasted in and moving independently of the rest of the simulated world.

F22 does not register on radar! Watch Growling sidewinder videos on F22 vs mig29 and such. JF-17 can't fight something BVR When it can't see or detect it on radar.

Makes you wish they had bought a thousand f22s. I know this kind of dogfighting isnt expected to happen a lot in actual conflict, so designing the f35 to excel at it would be a waste, but man the f22 just hands out Ls unprompted. Good stealth, carries more missiles, top tier manouverable etc.

JF-17 Pilot: Thrashing the joystick, throttle and rudder pedals in desperation. Body in constant stress state as he does his best to be evade and go offensive. F-22 Pilot: Watching a KZfaq video on his phone and eating chips, thinking about what he needs to pick up at the store after returning to base.
