Oooh-Rai I think his comment was just supposed to give us all a little laugh who gives a shit what he drives lmao. I gotta 96 12 valve with the nv4500 and an 04 ranger 5 speed and honeslty i prefer the ranger over the 12v😂 it cost me $25 to fill up not $90 and just every thing is cheaper and I can beat the fuck outta that ranger and it just takes it and if something breaks who gives a shit because parts are so cheap and easy to replace. Infact I'm gonna be putting my 12 valve up for sale soon lol

Even with an 18 speed you can go from 0-60 mph and only use 3 or 4 gear positions as long as you don’t have much of a load on. With a pickup engine that has a wider RPM range it would be even more flexible. Just because it’s a thirteen speed doesn’t mean you have to use all 13 to get up to hwy speed

Things badass but why is he pausing in the middle of each shift
@LongHaulRob3 жыл бұрын
Its gear floating, shifting without a clutch. The delay between shifts is letting the rpms naturally drop letting you get into that gear without the clutch and also keeping a tempo like a metronome. Watch some videos of big rigs gear floating, it's more noticable on 10 Speed Transmissions where the typical rpm gap between gears is about 500 rpms. A 13 Speed like in the video above has a similar gap in the lower range of gears, but if you notice The red switch he flicks at higher speeds. That splits the gear in half effectively reducing the rpm drop to about 250-300rpms depending on his rear ends. Fun stuff! 18 Speeds have the lowest rpm drop since you can split every gear.

Awesome. Nothing better than shifting 20 times coming off the light. Gets the blood going.
