What a mesmerizing talk on this climatic movement ! This is the second time I listened to it from beginning to end, I’m sure I’ll listen many times more!

This movement contains one the greatest melody from Chopin.

After a while, I have decided to learn the entire 3rd Sonata, I haven't learned anything from Chopin that is this large in scale and I decided to start with the 3rd movement, which I believe is the emotional core of the Sonata. Great lecture!

Good interpretation of this movement, and thanks ! I think the opening movement is at least musically and emotionally as profound and beautiful as the slow movement, if not even more. The opening movement was the reason I decided to learn this Sonata exactly one year ago. I had decided to tackle the technical difficulty first, thus learning the opening movement, the finale and the second movement first, and then carry on to the technically easiest slow movement.

I Interpret this piece like a man that standing one step away from the top of pedestal and before he takes his one last step, he reminiscence about all the journey, hardship and everything he took just to be on the top and as he took his last step, he realized that It Is the end and also the beginning of a new Journey, and so he took the last step and finally prepared himself for the new journey. That's just for me. 😅

Indeed, Mo Niemczuk, this Largo is the most refined expression of pure love. Resemblance with the lyric third part from Sonata No 2 op 35, cannot be avoided. Love and death, have always been and will remain eternal questions without reply from the humans. Romanticism is the ideal framework for similar experimentations, resulting in creation of masterpieces. In this third movement, love not only reaches, but also surpasses its peak! I am sure that who he has never been in mutual love, is the suitable one to understand, feel and express the real meaning of this invaluable gift of Nature. Chopin, in spite of his chaste soul, never found the love he deserved.
