Great review. Question. I am 70 kg. I have a RWS 54L and Strikes 5.5/4.5/3.5. I also have SS1200 and E 890. I am looking to get a SK8 and tempted to replace my E 890. I prefer minimizing my choices. One foil for super light wind and one for everything else. What would you go with? SK8 750 or 850 to compliment the SS1200? Most of my foiling is on flat water, wind swell, and occasional mushy waves. Thanks

Hi could replace my 7sea 1200 with a sk8 1050 for light wind using 6m wing , i am 70kg? I du use 940s in Stronger wind and will get 750 sk8 next week Thanks in advance

Hi how would you compare it with the PhantomS (for example 940 phantom and 950 sk8, or in 840/850) ? Thanks

Hi Leo! The Sk8 works better in the pocket of the wave much more control in the turns on the face of the wave more glide and better pump. the Phantom a bit slower and easier to use foil if you just getting in to waveriding. Its more like an great allround foil for a bit of everything. the sk8 will be a great step up if you been riding the Phantom S already. :)

how would you compare the seven sea 1000 and the sk8 1050? early fly? for 80 kg in wind 12 to 18 knots. tx

Hi Mate! you can get going in similar wind strange with the two foils maybe a bit earlier with the SS 1000 but the Sk8 pumps and glides way better. SS1000 more forgiving and a bit slower :)

Hi Mate sorry no jumps for us yet but I heard that some of the pros likes to jump the small sizes. :)

Thanks for a great review. How will the different Sk8 sizes 850/950/1050 work and compare for Wingfoil wave downwinders in the waves in that Area Hanstholm - Vigsø - Slettestrand. (Im 80kg/195cm presently riding phantom 1280cm /Rocket Wing S 5,4/strike and swing and I want to buy a Sk8 (thinking 1050cm) to progress into doing the above downwinders.

Hi Jacob! I think the Sk8 1050 will work perfect for downwind on the wing in Hanstholm. If you want to be more in the pocket of breaking waves I would go for the Sk8 950 but if its more for Downwind in the open ocean swell the Sk8 1050 will be the one for more glide. :) You can try them when we are in the are next time if you want. :) //Arild

@@surfskolancrew205 thanks a lot Arild - and if I want to buy 2 x sk8 foils to use in those Hanstholm/Jammerbugt waves _ then which one would be the best supplement to the sk8 1050cm cm for me? - would it be the 850cm or 750cm?

I think that the 850 is the one to go for together with 1050. you are bit taller so the 750 can be bit pitching for you more stability on the 850 @@jacobblikstedsoerensen9987
