客纳街Club Street是俱乐部街的意思。以前客纳街两旁的店屋，有许多宗乡会馆、行业联谊会以及商贾俱乐部或“公馆”。这条街上现存的两家百年俱乐部：新加坡中华为基利俱乐部和吾庐俱乐部，经过战火蹂躪，不但没有走入历史，反而屹立不倒。它们不仅见证时代的风云变幻，更体现华族自立更新、薪火相传的精神。
Streets of Memory Episode 2 - Club Street
Club Street is located in Chinatown, Singapore. The street was named as there were many clubs situated on this street in the early days. Besides the clubs, there were also many clan associations and industry associations. Over time, only two clubs remain, Singapore Chinese Weekly Entertainment Club and Goh Loo Club. They are both over a century old and still operating despite the war and many difficult times. The two clubs witnessed the change of times and withstood many historical incidents. Charmaine Leung, a writer who grew up in Chinatown will tell the story of Club Street.
