Tai Tzu Ying is truly amazing. That backhand reverse slice is jaw dropping.

With all due respect, TTY is just on a completely different level to the rest of the WS players. She's so exciting and such a joy to watch. Amazing racket skills, ridiculous deception, fantastic footwork, powerful smashes, imaginative drop shots, breathtaking control, solid defence, remarkable consistency, and above all, commendable humility. She's got it all! The only other current WS player who has got (at least to some extent) a lovely skillset is Rachanok Intanon, though she isn't very consistent.

TTY has to win Olympic game and show the world the true quality of WS. Amazing footwork, jaw-dropping drop shots and net play, powerful smash, great deception... and on top of that, a humble attitude.

Saina is a fighter. Tai is a magician.

TTY, the Roger Federer of Badminton. Honestly, I find her the most skillful of the current crop of players, including the men. Momota is steady as a rock, Tai is simply brilliant. You'd have to go back to Taufik to find a similar level of craftiness and backhand magic.

Tai Tzu Ying is vv well mannered hence vv well liked! To her opponent, her coach, the umpire, the service judge, the line judges especially those who mopped, she has always been v graceful.

Wow that was a seriously breathtaking game!! Saina was shouting like Marin....but still Saina behaves better then Marin....just she is too excited! Saina did improve alot, she can beat Marin but not TTY. Congratulations TTY, you are so tremendously talented and awesome!!!

Fantastic game. Saina is definitely back with her level of play and she wanted this bad but Tai had the answers for everything that the other players Saina beat on the way to the finals did not.

TTY truly enjoys the game and not just about winning. She reminds me of a Kung fu master who trains to perfection not just for fighting but the techniques are there when required.

Tai was tricked into playing a game of backcourt drives and clears in the 2nd game. That was a mistake as it led her right into Saina's alley. She should have mixed things up more as she definitely has a speed advantage over Saina. Otherwise excellent as always.

TTY is the only badminton player who actually bows her head when shaking hands. Good etiquettes.

I hope Gillian Clark will one day learn to pronounce Tai Tzu Ying's name properly. Her name should sound like Dai Zi Ying. Taiwan (aka Chinese Taipei) uses a strange kind of romanization (Wade-Giles Romanization) that does not spell some of the sounds as we normally see in English.

Amazing game aside, what's bizarre and new in this particular TV broadcasting is that, the instructions of Tai's coach during ALL BREAKS were taped and clearly audible to the viewers. To my understanding, this never happened before. It seems obvious that the microphone is intentionally placed near Tai's (but not her opponent's) resting station to expose the strategical philosophy and coaching details behind Tai --- to benefit whoever speaks Mandarin and wants to study Tai's playing. Shouldn't that be treated as confidential ? 中国，日本 和印度都有两个教练。不过却没有什么作为。他们教的都是老套打法，根本就不懂得如何破解小戴的先进球技。所谓"三个臭皮匠，抵个诸葛亮"，所以他们应该派三个教练才有用

Tty gonna be figured out and players are getting close to her game.Give some time to the players from Japan,China and India and this girl will find it tough to win matches easily.Anyway,it was clearly visible in the second game that TTY body language was shaky and she was not able to handle pressure well,if somebody can put pressure on her regularly in every game by controlling game and involving her in fast paced long rallies she will crumble mentally.However,she is very good and playing very well and congratulations for winning and as far as Saina is concerned she is looking lethal after a very long time,if she continues like this it will be fun to watch her in future.
