F-ZERO - "Stormy Village"

8 ай бұрынAnother original tune. I like the atmosphere I've 'tried' to convey here. It's meant to be a submerged village, say due to rising sea levels; the weather is frequently stormy with plenty of thunder to strike those machines down.

An Atlantis type track in F-Zero could actually go pretty hard

Rain would be a pretty neat thing to add to F-Zero, adding another race changing element like the wind in Death Wind.

there is rain lightning venue in GX but doesn't do anything gameplay wise

@NikoSoviet88 Yeah I know about that, but imagine it having an impact on races, making the whole track or at least most of them be like the slip zones in white land and big blue, and rough patches could be puddles.

Quite a neat track! It does fit very well with the original F-ZERO vibes, very good work. I also like the idea of the lore behind it, I imagine it could translate to either a rain effect obscuring the screen or lightning bolts striking specific parts of the track.

Both would be neat together. Rain on the screen for immersion and then the bolts create holes in the track which you then have to avoid else you fall through and retire.

As a fan of the original SNES F-Zero's OST, I laud you for making this sound like something the original developers would have made. This is incredibly accurate.

I stumbled on the X version of this first and thought it was a remix of an actual F-Zero SNES song for a second. You did a great job capturing the style of the original game's soundtrack.
