After one year of long hard work I was able to release F-Zero X Climax on July 14th, for the 15th anniversary of F-Zero X.
Here is the Platinum Cup on Seinsei (master) difficulty, with a simple Blue Falcon and without using advanced moves. I wanted to show that it's possible to finish first on each of the 6 tracks of that cup too, it shows that the game is open to most F-zero X players but unlike on the other cups the CPUs are slow on the Platinum Cup, beat them is easy but of course the tracks are more a bit more difficult than on the other cups.
Also for the last cup, as it contains several classic tracks remix and to add some variety I chosed to use the alternative textures of the tracks venue so they look very different from the ones from the other cups.
On this video an updated F-Zero X Climax, on this version the CPUs survive on RC3 and S2, the trick was to exchange position between RC3 and S2 ( the CPUs trajectory must been scripted someway and S2 just fits better on the platinum 5 position ) and fix or modify a few things on the tracks to help the CPUs to survive, that way I was able to maintain the four jumps in the right places on RC2 or the no wall segments on S2.
The update will be available around september.
I'll make time attack videos with advanced moves on each tracks later, I need to train before that.
