Petition to switch F1 cars to Mario Karts, easiest solution. Charles Leclerc as Mario and Carlos Sainz as Princess Peach. Then Formula 1 will easily be at its peak.
On a real note, I really hope you guys enjoyed this one. Worked for days on end trying to do something unique in my own style, balancing both the goofiest humor and deep discussions about F1. Expect more vids like these to come.

I will say the older cars really looked like glass cannons, this insanely fast terrifyingly sounding monsters yet the slightest touch made them spin or fly out. The newer cars look bigger and meaner almost like a batmobile, and I personally really like it, the one thing I really miss are the cooler liveries.

I might get hated for that but i actually love the 2022-24 F1 designs, their nose being so thin and low to the ground, the front wing being angled, the sidepods, all of that makes the car look so aggressive, it's my favorite design. Unfortunately they sound like crap.

We haven’t had the sleek nose designs since like 1994, I personally also really like how these modern f1 cars look, also I feel like we wouldn’t be having this much criticism if redbull werent so dominant since without them, these past few seasons wouldve been some of the more competitive ones

I honestly think the only thing holding back the new regulations from being almost perfect is exactly their biggest weakness said by literally everyone in the sport... *WEIGHT* . If F1 cars manage to get lighter without compromising safety i believe there would be no dicussion about the regulations

Motorsport magazine did an article in 2022 about f1 car weights from 22 - 2008 listing every reason why the cars have gotten so much heavier and only 50kg is due to safety. So these cars can actually get a lot lighter and be at the same if not even safer level then what they are at now. Safer if light bc if a bicycle hits you at 10 mph it’s gonna hurt. If a garbage truck hits you at 10 mph bones are snapping due to the increased weight. Same with F1 cars if they’re lighter the crashes will be less dangerous due to weight being like dropping a phone on your foot vs a bumb bell.

The way they could make f1 better is decreasing the length width and weight of the cars give them more powerful engines(NOT WEAKER ENGINES) and reduce the reliance on drs and overtaking buttons

Awesome video like always Rick. I'm hoping the 2026 car can bring us the so much needed competitive and close racing. But also, I pray for FIA to get its sh*t together and stop punishing drivers for actually racing! Our boy Alsonso can't catch a Break and meanwhile a pyscopath in F3 smashed a competitor into the wall and the FIA didn't even penalize him.

The problem with the overtakes is that you look at the pace and already know that someone will be overtaken. It’s just boring when you either have max pulling away knowing there won’t be any battle at the front of the grid or max being second knowing that it’s only a matter of time that he overtakes on the straight. You can’t put up any resistance against the drs and the the faster driver will pull away really fast.
