Lot of haters but a great build in my opinion, would i choose a ecoboost no but this isn't my truck it looks beautiful great workmanship and you cant say its not unique great build

Clearly some of you disappointed in there choice of build to "BRING BACK" because they thought it was so good. Take the time to read things fully, its just like taking things out of the box trying to put it together or use it without reading the manual or directions!!!!!!!! Stop hating, you know you can make your own videos if you want to whine about it.

There are some salty people in this comment section 🙄. It's not your truck and you would never have a chance to even drive it. Why do some people care what other people do with their own stuff. Makes no sense to me. At least they saved it from a junkyard or returning back to the earth in the form of iron oxide. I'm not a huge fan of the build myself but I'm not about to get mad about someone else's work or property.

Can I ask a question? When putting in the cam. I noticed you guys and most other guys put the cam in after the crank. I was taught to put it in 1st. As it allows you to grip the can and help place it in place. And to add additional assembly oil with the bottom up. Since sliding the cam in wipes the bearing off. It's been probably 30 years since I have done this type of work and my youngest son who is in his early 20s wants to build a 350. Been watching alot of videos and everyone lays in the crank 1st. Is my line of of thinking and the way I was taught out dated. Thank you guys

Yeah, the eco-boost is a bust, but the truck did turn out awesome in my opinion I think 57,000 is a little low

The ecoboost is a awesome engine. Ford has made only a few improvements from the original engine... I have loved my v-8's from ford, but also love my first ecoboost. A 17 Ford Raptor. Love driving it daily still today.

As much as I love v-8’s I thought it really cool they did something different, using the v-6 especially being mated to a five speed. Love the coyote, but it has become the common swap along with the LS(for good reasons) so the ecoboost was a little out of the ordinary.

Recently bought a cheap Honda passport from 1987 thing knocks a lot. Ima end up sticking 4 forklift motors that will run the drive gear. It will have 2 speeds. Low and high. No more no less. The SUV is mint it's just the heart of the beast that needs a transplant.

That's one clean 55 F100, though for me I would've gone with the 5.0L Coyote V8 instead of the EcoBoost V6 just so I don't have to worry about replacing turbos when they break and plus better sound as well.

Wheels choice is always a matter of personal vision which however greatly influences the entire final look of the vehicle...this beautiful build and curvy cabin deserves modern wide steelies with dog dish hub caps. Not a stock wheel pattern like on a Scion Tc.

I like different and those is different the whole entire point to hot rodding and custom rides is to be different who the heck wants the same ole vanilla slab as the next guy if I was to build this today I would have no problem with the eco boost now that the aftermarket has caught up to the platform I here to tell you that little eco boost can flat out rip that being said though nothing beats the sound of a bass thumping big boom stick with some overlap pushrod v8 for life lol

v6 or chevy i stop watching. Sonsick of seeing stuff done wrong. Ford makes an amzing v8 with the coyote. And finally you see guys switching out LS for coyote swaps. i clicked just to see what they were putting in this thing

yuck just seen the engine and this discussed me kind of like trucks when they did the ecoboost f150 vs the srt 10 ram. They couldve went with a v8 f150 and gen 2 and 3 only need boost and fuel and you can make up to 1000whp to 1200whp pushing it and run easy 8s in the 1/4 mile. No heads no cams no pistons no rods no opening the engine unless you want to go built motor which then you can make up to 2000hp on factory blocks. LS/LT Hellcats need to be fully built to get in the 1000whp range and even the viper engine in the srt10 needed a cam to get more power but to make 1000hp its gonna need a lot. So when they do this ecoboost crap it makes no sense. But atleast they kept it ford. The modern 3.5 twin turbo ecoboost can make 700hp with some tuning downpipes etter turbos. BUT Again 10k for turbos or supercharger and 2k for a fuel system and coyote can make whatever you want 750whp to 950whp reliability is there unlike tuning a ecoboost .

Only semi new content they have going on is Music City Trucks and they only built junk broncos and worthless suburbans that have zero practicality! Engine Power can't make enough newer content either because they only build v8s!

@@cruejones742 I would like to see a rebuild of a 4.0 jeep motor for everyday driving they did one but ended up putting a 4 barrel holly on it because they couldnt get a fuel injection set up to work right

@@davidcaskey4669 check out Davin with the Hagerty channel. He showed how easy it is to rebuild and stroke a 4 liter using stock jeep parts. If you want to see a bad ace turbo jeep engine then check what Newcomer Racing has done. Why buy a new supercharged hellcat when an old turbocharged 4.0 can smoke it? Lol
