It looks like you didn't fill the oil pump with vaseline. Big block buicks such as the 430 and 455 and some cadillacs such as the 63' 390 have the same oil pump design and require as AMC's 290, 343, 360, 390 and 401 engines vaseline to help the oil pump draw oil on initial startup.

A combo, super turbo build would be interesting, tried just a couple of times factory.

The 19yrs number is debatable. the 99-2006 blocks were different, mainly in motor mount location, but also oil pressure sensor location. The result is that WJ and TJ 4.0's are not swappable with earlier 4.0's. I'm in the middle of a swap on my '02 WJ 4.0, who's original engine dropped a piston skirt after 2yrs/260k miles. replacement engine is 20yrs old w/ 97k miles.

I just had a crazy idea. Boosting high mileage engines like the 4.3L 262 V6 Chevy engine from the 1990’s. Or the iron duke! Just for chits and wiggles…🤣

Aces EFI doesn't need a crack or cam trigger. Hand held or top tuning.

Fyi, not all 305's are equal, there is certain years 305' that has 80 or so more HP than a 350 from a different (low hp) year.

Not sure why this video is labelled as Payoff of Sgt Rock. This truck was never completed on Trucks! This truck project wasn’t officially completed until season 9 of Stacey’s current show Gearz

lotta HP gain for little money, nice job. I have an 03 Z06 that I purchased in 2012. Original owner had Les Stanford Chev in Dearborn build up the engine and supercharge her. She's got just over 580 rwhp and loves embarrassing newer sports cars doing rolls. I can't do digs because she still is wearing her stock rims and tires.

This proved what I've been telling all these young engine guys that think they tested a 327 chevy, Unless you were alive in my era you don't know about the cars or engine perfomace of my era !! If you test a 327 you'll need to test it right. leaded fuel (103 to 107 octane fuel) and high compression (11 to 1 or 12 to 1) and headers Some of the same engines ran better because the automobile industry wasn't perfect. Thank you Powernation for opening some people eyes.. But most us knew that 305 was in the 265 family.

Can you test those intercooler coolers? Co2 spray on front of an intercooler and I saw a video on social media there was a nozzle spraying something in the turbo inlet. What is that?
