Absolutely right, F11 is not a correction product. Get the paint corrected before you add TC. You may not be ready for this but once you have a coat of TC on the car you dont even need water or a bucket. Just spray TC on the car wipe it off and then buff it out. It does not allow the dirt to scratch the paint. It was hard for me to do that. I even started on the roof because I didnt believe it, but after having zero scratches on the roof I did the whole car changing out microfiber towels every so often because of dirt build up in the towel but the surface was not scratched when I was done.

I am loving the F11 so far. We are 3 coats in on F11 on my new hybrid rav4 and it makes car cleaning ssooo much easier. I put it on everything exterior and now working on some interior applications.

f11 the more you use the more it works better. i am like this guy, i used to do the whole 3 step process, clean wax polish....i am now a disabled veteran with tbi and a lot of issues from combat injury and i dont have all the energy to take a full day to each of my three vehicles for cleaning and waxing. i did my research and i chose f11 over ceramic waxes. f11 is the easiest and fastest for my life and situation. i like the results. the more you apply it the better it gets. works for me and my situation. i have been doing my own car maintenance and waxing since i was 15 and believe me this is the easiest and fastest and best way to get the best results for a beautiful vehicle. i have a 2009 challenger srt8, 2010 jeep grand cherokee and a 2011 ram express. for me this is the best and my vehicles look great and i get thumbs up all the time.

I have the same problem with my rotors rusting right after a wash and have to take the car for a spin to clear the rust off. However it's worse if I use chrome wheels cleaner. That stuff is real acidic. If I were you i would F11 the wheels and then just wash with water. I think you will notice less rust on your rotors. Props to the O's shirt I'm also an O's fan!

Its a Go-Pro for crying out loud, take the thing out of the hard case. The mic noise is insane.

Hi, I'm gonna give you a pros tip for drying your car and avoid all of those water drop streaks... Use a leaf blower to dry the car, no joke it's the best way to get the water of your car, just like in the drive through car wash.. 👍🏻👍🏻

Impressive one handed video. My stepson sent me a facebook link on TopCoat. After watching your video I think I'll give it a try. I've done all the various steps, correction, sealing, protection, shine, etc. I wouldn't mind something that makes it easier to maintain the finish.

a tip i have when using the waffle towels to dry. throw the towels in the washing machine and let them spin dry. when you take them out right after the spin cycle, they soak up a lot more water then when they are bone dry.

That rust on your brakes is called flash rust. And I've seen all cars get it that i wash unless the brakes are coated in zinc or whatever those pro stop brake rotors are.

Great video! The next step is to not use water at all. Use F11 and microfiber towels to clean, shine and add more layers all in one application. That is safer and better than using water. The only time you would want to use water is if there is obvious heavy debris on the surface such as mud, etc. that you need to remove first. TopCoat F11 is extremely slick where water is not. Put F11 on the rims! Throw away that brush and cleaner. F11 is unaffected by heat and will repel the brake dust and protect the rim.

Go with the new Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions lineup. I’ve got a black 95 Corvette and just finished it with TWHS. It’s all ceramic, even the polish. A good paint correction is the best way to start. Every TWHS product has ceramic coating. It’s really an amazing product. Nice sounding Vette! *edit* Black is not a choice, it’s a hobby!

Just applied F11 to my car and my wifes car. 2 coats each. Great product, easy to apply.

There's literally a metric ton of detailing products that are just as good or better at protecting your paint that also cost about a quarter of what f11 does.

I'll admit I have not tried this, but nearly everything else and I still end up going back to Turtle Wax Ice (synthetic) as it is so easy to apply, last for several months and it is also pretty cheap, if were not cheap I would still use it.

Yes I just realized your tags show u are a md resident I am as well I don't own a vette but I do love them very much one day I will eventually own one when my finances permit me to but I do use F11 on all my vehicles as well and it works wonders especially on my harley and I too have a deep black paint on my harley so it does wonders for the pain especially with getting caught in rain F11 makes it much easier to clean with just water I do use micro fiber towels however but I will be ordering from chemical guys soon they're giant waffle towels to take place of my micro fiber towels bcuz I see the difference between the two when it comes to getting the water off quickly and effectively great vid guy keep up the good work

Buy a Master Blaster Sidekick to solve the problem with drips and standing water in the jambs, it will help preserve your sanity. That aside, I don't see how F11 (which I admittedly have *no* experience with, only the hyperbole in their marketing) can replace the need for corrective abrasives which you implied that your Corvette needed in the beginning when you showed all the products you used to use. I also have a problem with using just water and nothing else to wash your car. I would at least put a capful or to two of some kind of waterless/rinseless wash in the bucket for lubricity, even something like CarPro ImmoLube. But to each his own; if you are happy with the results you're getting, that's all that matters. I've seen so much praise for F11 by now that I might buy a bottle to see for myself.

Correct me if I am wrong..... -F11 Is easy to apply and work with... -Other things are too at a fraction of cost. -F11 Needs to be reapplied every 3 or 4 months -Thats about as often as anything else -Bugs and dirt come off with ease with f11 -Same results with most all other protectants/waxes/sealants what am I missing..... I mean the ONLY thing I can see.... Is people say.... NOTHING sticks, While that may be true to an extent. If I wax my car and wash it every 3rd day literally I can literally just use water. So.... am I missing something! A BIG something before I spend that much money!

F11 is a good product and if it were priced reasonably I would use it and recommend it. But it's not reasonably priced and there are other products which will give you similar finish that are reasonably priced. Worth the price? No.

Is there a particular Towel, whether Standard microfiber vs. Plush microfiber vs. Ultra Plush Microfiber or a couple Microfiber Applicator Pads, that provides Best Results? What direction...Side to Side in a straight line, to avoid any further Swirls or does it matter if just a regular Wiping motion? Thanks in advance...

and how is the finish after a few showers of rain? Others on here says that the finish is water soluble and just goes away after a rain or two. is this why you don't want it washed? Not trying to bust your product TC just trying to understand the finish. I have some on order as well as another to try out. My car is one week old so its the perfect time to start out right. It has not even been washed or mangled by the dealership. I took off all the tape and stuff myself. I may clay the paint first but it does feel pretty smooth. And Corvettfan? Nice car for sure and beautiful finish!

Try it on a car that has not been treated by an OCD guy (no offense - nothing wrong with that) You will find it is not so special. Works well with a car that is taken care of... like your ride. The wax you have put on this car so carefully over the years is still there. Like any good detail spray, the Fll is just putting the icing on the cake. I don't think it is worth the money. Get yourself any good detail spray, apply it after you wash the car - takes 15 minutes, and you will get the same performance, without the 3-400% markup I have a professionally done ceramic coated mustang, I know through experience this is so. (Big key) - just take car of the car - like you say

Try a twisted loop towel for drying. The tag company has a great one. U can thank me later.

Cant believe someone going to all the effort and expense hasn't invested in a DI system. 600$ and you literally will have 0 water spots and never touch your car with a towel. Thats where the swirls come from. Money well spent if you have vehicles you care about.

It is a sealant that is easy to use very glossy and slick and will last in the real world no hype around 6 to 8 months. Do urself a favor and check it out. I promise. I've been detailing for a living for many yrs. Also it can be used with any wax or coating which makes it unlike any other thing on the market.

nice video, im gonna get it for my 2017 zl1. i used sonax ceramic coating and it takes 4 hours to put on. i rather take 30 minutes and apply this and be done with it.

Vette lover here. Love my '82 C3. But....4 layers of ANY wax, applied over a period of 6 weeks?? So whats the point of the video? It isn't like you waxed it and then 6 weeks later, you show the 'quality or lack of it'. You kept applying it. So did it last or not? Is it still on your ride? Did you switch? Thanks for trying something a bit different, but it isnt a 6 week review of F11 that would be great to see. I am not putting it on MY C3. I live by Collinite 476S. A bit hard to put on, but it lasts a very long time. Still dont know if this stuff lasts even 6 weeks. Nice C5!

Just to confirm my understanding. Do you use plain water (no detergent) to wash your car? I believe you have applied 4 coats of F11 over 6 weeks. When was the last application of F11? Was it to rejuvenate the coating? I am trying to evaluate how durable this coating is.

I have Ceramic Pro and clear bra on my C7. When the beads of water dried on the car i had gotten water spots. According to the F11 website the F11 will not prevent those beads of water, still on your car, from leaving water spots. I am in NY. I tried using a distilled water/Vinegar mix but did not work on the spots. I would like to use F11 in the future but first I need to remove the water spots without removing the ceramic. How can I do that??

A True car guy.. Lol.. goes back for a water spot he saw Hahaha.. I'm the same way bloody way. Did the old lady say anything like, "Are you washing that thing again? You love that car more than you love me!"? I get it all the time from mine, but I'm slowly getting her trained... she'll help me wipe it down after a wash now. Anyways, how's this product working out for you? It looks great, but judging by the type of car guy that you are, your car's never dirty and it looks as though you also live in a nice climate. I live in a rather harsh environment but I don't drive my fast car/s in the winter; I have a beater that I drive the majority of the time. I've used a few products as well and some are quite good, but it's always a rather time consuming effort to get it up to where I'm satisfied but that Nxt 2.0 wax is good stuff. There was another one I used to use as well that was pretty much spray on under any light and wipe off... wasn't bad, forget the name though, but it didn't last very long(weekly application). This looks like a good alternative for a guy to use but I'm sure my paint would have to be corrected and since this car sat outside for about 3 years (hole in the block, building new motor right now), I'll likely need a good paint correction and something to eliminate a few scratches that occurred while sitting :( I did buy brand new rims for it though, and was going to get a guy to apply a coating to them for protection, however, he doesn't seem too keen on doing it anyways... I'm wondering if this is a better investment since I could use it on the entire car after a correction. Wheels always get so filthy, especially on the inside of the barrel and I don't even like that.... literally have to remove the wheel to clean it.. would like to avoid this if possible. Maybe TopCoat is the answer? What's with ppl saying it's garbage? It looks to me that car guys who take care of their rides actually get show quality results with little effort due to their high maintenance of the finish in the past. I saw another video of a guy applying it to his oxidized truck and it did virtually nothing (needs correction obviously)... and carnauba made it shine up nice, but carnauba is a bitch to apply, mainly because of so many plastics on cars that can get that white crap on them and you can virtually never get it off once it's there... so I stay away from it now for the most part. There seems to be a lot of naysayers on this product though.... not sure what to think to be honest. I'm getting too old, and I have a screwed up back from work, to spend half to a full day of detailing a car anymore so something like this would make my life a lot easier. Thanks for the review

4 coats to get those results? We put F11 up against our spray in product and F11 failed in a month! The spray product I use literally lasted 5 months and that was with one wet coat! (Wet coat means I used it to dry car off with for those who don't know) After 5 months, I finally washed the vehicle. I went to a cheap car wash, spray soap (which it don't dispense much anyways, rinsed it, and BOOM! Shiny all day long again! F11 is a joke! Another decent product is The Last Coat. It's cheaper and way better than F11. They (F11) took everyone's wallets with the way they marketed it.

This isn’t a good example. This car seems to be garage kept only driven on nice days. This may work for a guy who can keep his car out of elements.

Can you please tell me if when you first applied Top Coat F11, what did you do to remove any previous waxes or coatings? Did you wash multiple times with soad to remove old waxes or coatings? Did you use a Clay Bar to remove previous waxes before applying F11 for the first time? Thank you in advance! Reply: Because it had been about a year from my last wax application...I didn't do anything other than wash it several times with Adams Car Wash Soap. If you have a fresh application of wax...you can use a mild dish soap to remove from your car. Just make sure all the water spots or paint imperfections are corrected prior to F11 application. Then you will great results! Good Luck!
