Ай бұрынA relatively common issue with Ford trucks is a bad purge valve / solenoid. Common symptoms include hard starting and extended cranking times after getting fuel. It's not a 100% chance of being the problem, but its a sure bet. It only takes a few minutes with common hand tools to fix this yourself. I will list the part numbers for the 2.7, 3.5 and 5.0 engines below for 2015-2018 F150's. Please verify the part number for your particular year / engine. This video shows the replacement on a 2015 F150 with a 2.7 engine,vbut other years / engines are similar.

In your opinion, do you think a 2.7 liter ECO is a solid truck ? I’ve been driving a 2023 3.5 Liter ECO for a company truck, low mileage but surprised at its performance. Always been a Toyota taco fan until they did away with the 6 cylinder. I’m not real excited about the new 2024 hybrid 4 bangers coming out. Thinking of buying a used f150 and would like someone’s opinion that’s had more seat time with F150’s ?

The 2.7 ecoboost is an Amazing little engine. Although slightly less power than the 3.5, it is way more bulletproof and even more reliable. Also, incredibly powerful especially down low. My personal truck is a 2015 F150 with the 2.7 engine. 200,000 miles and still running like new.
