Don’t do this first! I read on a bunch of forums that it was likely the power lock actuators that were causing my power locks to not function. So I stripped my door panel off, removed all the harnesses, bolts, clips, rods and door handle to get this job done. Had a hell of a time to get it all back in properly with the new actuator. And......it wasn’t the problem. You know what the problem was? The power door lock relay. An $8 part that is super easy to get to (under the steering column). So unless you’re a patron for punishment, try the relays first.

I own a 2001 e 250 van , all the locks work except the master switch on the driver's door, its supposed to lock all the doors , but it don't .I got a new switch, didn't work ,any ideas...

No it's been working hours and we had to replace the computer and everything else and it still don't work so what the hell is it

My truck locks when I push it down and all the power buttons will lock the drivers side and unlock but no power works to passenger side kinda weird but getting new doors on it soon when I restore it to be rust free again anyway hopefully it fixes it 😂

Follow up on my power locks not unlocking but locking. Replaced actuator. No change. Checked wiring, ok. Just ended up replacing driver side door lock switch. Problem solved. Apparently the switches are known to go bad as well on these trucks. I went OEM. $80. Not many sell these bc they changed them a bit in 2002 or somewhere around there. Called the Ford dealership to get the part number. Driver side SW 7089 and passenger side SW 7096 for a 1999 F350. Driver side is the master switch, which is usually the culprit. That’s the $80 one. Passenger side is $40. Took 2-3 minutes to replace them both. Wish I wouldn’t have messed with the actuator lol. This is with a truck without a vsm.

Put a new actuator and that's not the problem all other doors work fine except real left driver side.
