Godstone Prevention isn't that OP like some people think, but it's worth to have it. 15 CP is not that much when You are high lvl (it's same like one skill +5). I just made test. With 1% Godstone Prevention I have prevented 3 out of 24 silence proc. It's not much, but in the other hand it can save our ass in PvP.

Well, assassins were always hard matchup for cleric and can't fight best sins without block set. Chanters are getting stronger and stronger with every last patch. There already some beast chanters with amazing survivability and huge damage combined with proper stunlock. But yeah gladiators and templars are still quite easy opponents for cleric. Maybe smart using pillars on Gold Arena can increase their chances a little bit. I have seen wise templar who outplayed cleric and bard thanks to these pillars. He was kiting till the end of time trying to stay alive. He struck few second before time limit making his opponent lower HP than himself and won thanks to that :D

Hey. Can't post my sets anywhere since Mouseclic.com stopped updating their database after 5.0. Anyway in this video I have used AP65 2-star officer set +16 socketed with MB27/HP47, AP65 4-star officer accessories +6, new AP75 staff +12 fused with another AP75 staff and socketed with 6x Knowledge+7 and 6x Knowledge+8, Feather MB/Crit Spell +7, Bracelet +7 (2x MB29/MA8), 3x Estima +4. This new staff increased my stats a lot, it gives 22% pvp attack and shitload of MB more comparing to old mythical AC staff +10 fused with mythical BM staff. I would recommend to start updating gear in 5.3 from weapon then accessories and set at the end, maybe in 5.5 when APES + mighty sup will have 100% success rate till +15.

Hey. AP75 is great for Will/MR build. There is just one problem, we have only one AP75 set. We cannot wear even chanter's set. So You have to decide if You want to use this set for MB or MR build. Otherwise You can fck up your macros, especially external one. Maybe 5.4 improved in-game macros will support switching between 2 items with exactly same name, not sure. Anyway there is one set which gives more MR, but it's cloth - Eternal Glory (it comes from Sky Islands) and it must have 5/5 lvl reduction. About MS set, keep gathering MS50 stones and make mythical BM or Kaisinel/Marchutan (+6 at least) set in 5.4 when we will be able to socket ancient manastones in normal slots in all items max 65lvl. Remember that eternal ancient manastones will stop dropping in the day when patch comes. Or wait till 5.5 (around 6 months) and make AP65 cloth set full MS50 - these items won't be class restricted any more.

Hey. We didn't get all mini patches after 5.3. We don't have new macros, Sanctum/Pandaemonium battlefields, ancient manastone change. We will have 5.4 update in April. But afaik Aion NA is getting all together.

HB - set from Makarna +15 (HB6 + HB3)

Hello. Usually defensive sets are they way to win versus every non-healer class. Ranger will always successfully cover silence after sleep arrow. Just switch for block / strike resist / physical defence set when u are silenced. You can avoid sleep traps. When You see that he pop up Nimble Fingers buff, just use root instantly and run away. You can also socket Blinding Light, Festering Wound and Enfeebling Burst stigmas for easy blind covers. Don't forget to cover with 3 debuffs, because they can remove one debuff with Natural Resolved. Templar might be more problematic, especially on Arena of Gold where we have just 5 + extra 2 min to kill him. Plates are super tanky with new MS PvP sets. We cannot stay in defensive sets too long. We should use it only when we are silenced or when we are expecting pull (we can time it) and we don't have shield to block it. If we won't kill Templar, we probably gonna lose in overall damage dealt. It's worth to socket Festering Wound. Try to cover it to reduce his healing from skills and pots. Templars using Nutritious Meals and Cellatus are almost impossible to kill. Especially when they use potions without items to heal for more percentage of their HP. They can basically outheal our dmg if they stick to new MS sets. Covering blind doesn't really give any advantage since they can remove all debuffs with Iron Skin / Earth Form / DP. If somehow You made Templar low HP, try to cover Word of Destruction if Festering Wound is on CD or even use both to decrease healing from their 2k DP Hand of Healing.

Hey. Didn't have anything interesting to show till now. Mostly low lvls which are dying in few seconds or just abusing MS set what is not fun too watch I guess. In the other hand I lost twice. Once vs cleric who knew that has no chance in clean fight, so he decided to use 75lvl xform. Another time versus bard with full AP75 set, clearly no chance :) Maybe next weekend. Just no point to upload trash PvP :)

Ah, okay but still better to watch your trash pvp as u said than others normal pvp but it's your choice what u upload :)

Also still be nice how you fight vs 75 xform and how you fight as geared and skilled cleric vs that bard whhat you lost so be nice if your're going upload each week of arena of gold, thanks

In my opinion weapon and accessories give much better boost comparing to AP65 gear. AP75 set +10 gives even few MB less than AP65 set +16. And I am not even thinking about new set +15 until patch 5.5. Of course it gives around 8% pvp def more and other defensive stats like magic supp, but we should focus on MB, MA, Crit Spell in offensive set to have chance to kill MS/MR opponents. For tanking damage we have defensive sets (MS, MR, Block). Godstone prevention isn't that OP. It doesn't decrease chance to get godstone by for example 1%, it just have 1% chance to avoid procced Godstone. There is info in combat chat when You prevent / supress godstone. You can make some tests and see how rarely it works. EDIT: One more thing. I don't know about You, but usually I don't switch accessories together with sets. New jewellery gives shitload Spell Resist more. So it would increase my defensive stats in all sets. This is really useful stat now when gunners and sorcers go for 800 crit spell. Don't let them crit on You every second hit.

i just cant switch gears mid-fight, as i'm just able to use ingame macros.. so the pvp-def is a huge point for me if you fail 2x Necklace on your way to +5 you could buy 3 small parts and enchant them to +10 with a nearly 100% success rate (whats much better for the start in my opinion)..

New Necklace / Earrings +4 are already better than AP65 +6. No need to go +5, depend what's ur current acc. Patch 5.4 with improved in-game macros is coming in April. There will be no need to use external macros any more ;)

until april we will have whole set and accs done i think.. just because you wrote "to start with.. accessories before armour" i was struggeling myself a bit, as i bought already 3/5parts armour and staff 15ish :P (you might have seen yesterday in chaos 'Brechbolzen' if you checked details)

Oh yeah, we have met on Chaos yesterday. Good fight, it was so close at the end :D I already thought that I lost when I died in last sec! Well, if You need more defensive stats on MB build then set is good choice after weapon for You. I don't feel like I will complete new gear any soon ;)

Yes, that's exactly what I am saying. Cleric is one of the strongest characters in the game. It lacks balance vs glad/temp mostly. In the other hand we have bards, gunners, ATs which are even more broken. This game is quite good in terms on group PvP, but it would require a lot of work to fix it on 1v1 level.

ClickTVaion i always got the same feeling doing pvp in retail, i was quite good at pvp but every single arena open world pvp was never a test of skill. i had people with minimal skill level winning anyway because of gear or godstones, i never felt accomplished with pvp untill i went to notAion.
