Our FA Cup journey came to an end at the quarter final stage as we lost to two stoppage time goals for Coventry City.
We thought we had won it late on with Rayan Ait-Nouri scoring one and setting up another for Hugo Bueno, scoring his first senior goal.
However it wasn't to be as Coventry fought back late on and won it with one of the final kicks of the game.

Just watched again. Coventry overall deserved their win. Simms and Wright were inventive and played with a lot of freedom. As a Wolves fan it's hard but nothing to complain about after such an exciting game. Enjoy the Semi final Cov.

I'll never understand how a commentator can suggest "a little too honest" and "should have gone down" in the penalty area, and complain about "diving" in other games. Do we, or do we not, want honesty??

Hard to watch again, but Coventry were much better than us. Had they finished better, and were it not for the efforts of Sa and Ait-Nouri, Coventry would have run away with this.

Aït-Nouri was terrific for the whole game, José Sá kept Wolves alive but was very cynical with the 'injury' that allowed O'Neil to get the ipads out and coach the team for what seemed like an age. Overall City deserved this and it's great to see a Championship team get this far in the competition

Fab game for Cov, tbh thats a cup final for us. Basically we want to be a decent prem team like you guys, we're getting closer to the Prem every year, but the gaps still there. Thanks for the good luck wishes. Hope the usual adage of "concentrating on the league" works out for you, cos as far as I can see, one good run will qualify you for European football, which would be great to see:)

I’m telling you it’s true, it’s because we’re a counter-attacking team exclusively. Our players are extremely pacy and/or have amazing short/long-range passing, players like Rayan, Semedo, Neto or Cunha will instantly punish you if you miss a corner, go watch the Spurs game where Gomes and Neto combined to retake the lead. However worse teams like Burnley will sit back and put most of their players near or inside the box at all times, and we struggle to break into the spaces and create any chances because a lot of our players are pretty weak. This game was a bit different though, our defence was just unaware and we had no forwards besides Sarabía, Fraser (invisible) and Chiwome (also invisible), we had to use Lemina as a winger which obviously failed and we were disorganised.

Happy we lost. We wouldve had to face Wembley heartbreak again and lets be honest is it really worth it going there just to come home losing. Yes its a cruel way to lose but it was deserved and these players will hopefully learn a lesson from this and use it as a drive to fight for europe. Back this team no matter what, our season is far from over and we still have something to fight for! Lets get Europe !

Not to be that guy but there are 4 problems here: 1) The free kick that lead to Simms goal, Santiago bueno was being lifted by Simms. 2) The Simms goal was a blatant handball. 3) Also, one of the coventry players fell onto Sa which stopped him from at least trying to save it. 4) On the throw-in in the 99th minute, the ref should've blew full time. Another match, another robbery. Keep your heads up lads, COYW

VAR looked at the 1st goal for 6 minutes and decided it wasn't handball so deal with it. Also not sure how you think simms was the one doing the fouling for the free kick - are you legally blind? The guys literally climbed on him 😂 Funny you didn't mention semedo not getting sent off for kicking O'hares face off 😅 but yeah everything was against wolves wasn't it 😃 not to be that guy and all....

Very angry about the mess we made yesterday, you can't believe that in just ¡3 minutes! miss the ticket to Wembley, this is a total shame, and being locals. Terrible performance by the defense, Santi Bueno had a big mistake in the third goal, there are no good alternatives in defense. Totally disappointed, the only thing left to do is continue and work on what's next.

Gutted about this. Coventry where the better team but that first goal from Simms was blatant handball. Shame we didn't have Cunha, Hwang, Neto or Bellegarde but we gave it our best. Congrats to Hugo Bueno for his first senior goal.

I agree VAR is a joke.. But for a handball to be given the ball has to have hit under the badge on the arm of the shirt which couldn't be seen in the replays.. Hopefully they change the VAR nonsense though.. Games in the championship are much better without..
