It wasn't Nike's decision to change it, why would Nike take it upon themselves to change the colours of a nation's national flag? They were clearly given a remit by the FA to come up with something more "progressive" and this is what they came up with. The FA signed off on the design, so were clearly happy with it. Do you think if Nike came up with a cock and balls motif the FA would have signed that off?

Exactly! I've posted before how I never see the English flag being flown anymore. I can't even remember a time when anyone ever made a big thing about st George's day either! Yet every other foreign holiday has to be mentioned/observed. How are we not allowed to fly our own flag, yet other countries can? I hope this now helps people become more patriotic, otherwise how long will it be before they start changing the shape as well, and then the name altogether, like Englandistan?

I’m Scottish and am utterly appalled at what has been done to Englands national flag! Totally woke!! The Cross of St George has a history going back hundreds of years…Red Cross on a White background…. End of…Is someone trying to erase Englands national heritage with this? I love seeing the Cross of St George flying from buildings, castles, houses and other public places…
