Another thing about tyshawns management of king is that he got an artist to make a board graphic for him and promised to pay him in exposure and not money but when he posted the board the artist had to get his attention because he didn’t even bother crediting. He did eventually credit but def changed how much I actually like tyshawn.

The owner of my local shop told me that when FA launched they refused to sell their boards to shops that carried other products than skateboarding like snowboards lol

I hardly watch skate videos anymore and don’t buy boards based on who’s name is on the bottom of it. I did that when I was a kid. The older I’ve gotten I buy boards based on quality and shapes.

I can't blame the kids. I’ve switched from FA/Hockey to Polar. They fulfill the same shape and feel of the decks without all of the cringe graphics and the try hard image. That being said, I do think Curren and Jake Anderson on FA with Louie is a great move for the brand, especially if they put out consistent footage as a team.

i think FA and 917 were the biggest wastes of potential all because I think Dill and Olsen never wanted to relinquish enough creative control over the image and idea of the brand to the skaters.
