Tbh this guy was pretty impressive the fact that he didn’t have a single ally and still won, is pretty cool.

He's in a category all of his own, it was refreshing to see someone win on personality and enthusiasm. Seems like people want the same kind of winner every season.

If Fabio was on S40 he would’ve thrown a wrench into everyone’s plan lol he’s so unpredictable. Imaging him playing against people like Kim, Sandra, Tony & Parvati lmao

He had a unique strategy that almost never works. He didn't ally with many people, and just stayed cool with everyone

People bag on Fabio for his lack of strategic play, but when you watch his confessionals you really get a sense of his hidden strategy. He pretends to be a “cheeseball” and be super goofy, when in reality during his confessionals, he displays a higher intellect for the game, and calls his game from the beginning. He was going to lay low, reach the final three because he is super likable. He literally did that, while dominating the physical game (vs other fit men), and gets jury votes (the literal biggest part of the game) because everyone likes him so much. Plus, there is some speculation he didn’t go 100% in immunity challenges in the beginning because he didn’t want people gunning for him early, and then he turned it up and won when he had to. Also he chose to bring the two guys he knew he could beat to the jury, while not voting one of them out (despite him not liking those guys) because he had a final three pact with them and if he voted one out he would likely lose a jury vote (the most important part of the game).

They should bring him back!!!! He was so loved by everyone idk why survivor haven’t already :////

"oh I'm on the outs so I'm pretty sure I'm going soon unless I win every immunity challenge from here on out... but that won't happen so I'm next" some confessionals later: "OMG I WON AGAIN I MEAN HOW COOL IS THAT MAN"

Fabio IS Survivor: Nicaragua! There's literally no other reason to watch the season except for him.

Drinking game: every time Fabio, at the end of a sentence says, "Man" you take a shot. You'd be dead at the 7 minute mark.

People hate this season but in retrospect I’m glad it happened. We needed a survivor winner that won off sheer likability

I would’ve loved to have seen Boston Rob’s interactions with this guy if he had been on Winners at War. They would have been priceless!

Fabio is probably on my Mount Rushmore of favorite characters who won the game, along with Tony, Sandra, and Todd. Fabio is basically a young version of Keith Nale. He's not a great strategist, but he's very good socially and physically.

I really like Fabio as a player and respect his strategy to act stupid and lay low it’s pretty brilliant and still so tough thing to accomplish.

Fabio, Sophie, Jenna, and Natalie W are all hated at time to time yet I like them all. IMO, the worst winner is amber.

It's subtle and you really got to look to notice it but you could see his winners edit and it's a pretty good one too it's just a little abstract like Richard's edit during Borneo or even Amber's an All-Star you can see her as even though it's really abstract I knew she was the winner as soon as shi-anne voted for her that tribal council her strategy was kind of obvious to us but that's because we're used to that strategy now it's a common strategy Marianne even used it this season the meat shield strategy Amber was the first person to use it and she used it to perfection everybody took their anger out on Rob for getting out played and forgot she even had to hand in it

He's a meh winner. Ending up in a position where your next if you don't win immunities will always be indicative of a bad game. Him not being an idiot doesn't suddenly make him a genius, I don't know why the comments here are trying to pretend he is. It's still impressive that he won, but like don't overblow it come on.
