I think that's because Jeff getting angry -- what you see is what you get. Jeff doesn't rage. He gets annoyed, which I think was the point of the compilation. He is always so even-tempered and on the fly always knows what to say. These are moments when you clearly see his mood shift. Never in all the years I've faithfully watched this show, have I ever seen Jeff's "anger" get past these points. This is as mad as he's ever become with the show and the contestants (on camera).

She was not a fan of the show but got recruited purely because she was hot, under the promise she will be voted out early and get a free vacation. She didn't really know what she was getting into and obviously ended up making it way further than the production anticipated and because she was meant to be the season's eye candy, she was the only one not given adequate clothing. Meaning, she had to endure the Nicaraguan storm season, possibly the worst Survivor season ever in terms of weather, in a bikini and a sundress. She wasn't even allowed to put on warmer clothing at night meaning she couldn't sleep as it was damn near freezing. It's a miracle she made it as far as she did. If there should be any anger surrounding her quit it should be aimed at the production because that was all their doing. And don't forget they got mad at her for quitting and decided to make her into an example and pretty much edit her out of the show, the few times she is on screen she is either partially blocked or just made to look like a fool. And all of that because of a situation they themselves created. They cast her to fail and when she didn't fail and actually made it quite far, they got surprised that the girl they didn't give any clothes couldn't take the fact that she doesn't have any clothes no longer and they decided to humiliate her.

To be fair, it wasn't really Probst who was angry but the tribe. And Varner apologized. I mean he felt horrible, you can tell during the tribal council, and his messages on twitter after the episodes airing (He apologized for his actions before the episode aired and apologized afterwards once more.) He knew he was gonna get backlash no matter how many time he apologized, and it wasn't even a malicious attack on Zeke. It was not right to say it, but i still feel he had no malicious intent when saying it. (And i mean, Zeke did forgive him.)

Jeff and the producers loved BR so much they created a season for him and then handed him the win. Ridiculous!

I don't remember that (although I believe you when you say it happened), my memory of old Survivor seasons has faded. And I can't remember if there was an on screen moment with Fairplay that could have fit in this video. But, I know for sure if you asked Jeff Probst what Survivor he has hated the most across every season it would be Fairplay with no hesitation. Jeff despises him and his bullshit, and I believe has said publicly Fairplay will never be invited back as long as he has a say in it.

Yeah, Jeff asked him if he was "loaded", which Johnny agreed to. There was another moment with the two of them, and Johnny had some smirk, and Jeff wanted an explanation. Johnny's answer was clearly annoying to him.

I've never been a fan of Courtney and I don't even remember that tribal but damn did she hold her own in that exchange.

Forfeiting the prize money that goes along with whatever placement they end up leaving at would be a fair penalty, I think, and of course they should also forfeit the privilege of casting a jury vote.

I think a lot of the people who quit over the years (not everyone but most) it was because they couldn't see themselves winning anymore and decided why am I still here. They already do that if you reveal who won the game before it airs.

That was survivor cook islands. Just after Penner mutinied and joined the other tribe. Was that his second time on survivor though? I thought it was his first time. The incident was when the two tribes were in a challenge and had to drop cannon balls from their boat into a target below their boat. Penner kept missing the mark and Jeff said something to which Penner replied with the sarcastic “ Oh pleaaaze! “

I wish Jeff had asked NaOnka if she wanted to quit and snuffed her torch second. As impulsive as NaOnka is/was, she could have changed her mind (and was the bigger character/more entertaining).

Agreed. I liked Naonka as a character (on a season that was pretty mediocre, but then again it also followed one of, if not, the best seasons of Survivor ever) but her quit annoyed me way more. Thinking about Purple Kelly still upsets me and Jeff was such an ass about something that could’ve easily been avoided on production’s end.

Both men have no respect for their targets, and even less respect for their alliance members. It is ridiculous to be sentimental or posture as morally superior in the game. Character does matter though when you go out of your way to be cruel. The production bears responsibility for this. L'il Hantz was profiling as a religious psychotic serial killer, AND THEY BROUGHT HIM BACK. Randy and Corinne were sociopaths in Gabon, and production interfered with the game out of embarrassment. I felt sorry for Sugar, who should not have been abused like that, game or no.

It was revealed after the season ended that, while Colton did have an illness, it wasnt severe to remove him. I’m not sure why the episode didn’t reflect this, but thats why people view Colton’s exit in One World as a quit and not an evac.

It came out later that Colton faked his appendicitis in One World. It’s not in the clip but in that episode I believe Jeff brings that up.

He was kind of rough with Danielle too at that tribal where she broke down and provoked Russell's wrath by highlighting her own connection with Parvati in a moment of weakness. She was pretty much dead money to win but Probst basically knocked her out of the game then and there when she was well on her way to at least final five otherwise and possibly FTC.

I was just going to post that! Shannon Elkins, the Nicaragua season. It was the finale/reunion and Probst gave him a chance to make-good on all of his homophobia that he displayed on the show. I think Jeff simply asked him during the finale: "Are you homophobic?" hoping to give him a chance to just make it right. But when Shannon said the words, "Hey if it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck--" Probst cut him off at the knees and says he's done, and refused to give him any more camera time. He was never spoken to the rest of the time on the finale, and the camera never went back to him at all. I don't know if I'd call that anger, but it was certainly a moment where Jeff stood his ground, and rightly so, not to give any more attention to someone who doesn't deserve it.

I agree, it shows he cares about the game and thus his work. Better than some robot hosting the show.
