A left footed wide forward is a priority as Salah is gone after next season or even before if a massive Saudi offer emerges, we actually need two for when Salah has departed but while he's here one will do to bed in for taking the spot he'll leave behind. Centre back is more urgent because we already don't have the numbers but if we don't sign the forward player then we'll be in the same situation there. I never thought of Gordon there as it never crossed my mind he'd be available I was leaning towards signing Bakayoko but not dissimilar talents and Gordon is home grown and a local lad who is a supporter so there are bonuses there. Smart work already from our management team and if we can get him for a decent price great and very glad they ruled out Quansah being part of the deal, that is even more important. Where did New Castle end up last season with Gordon in their side as to where Liverpool ended up with our current players.???. NO TO GORDON IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO ME. Bring in Johan Bakayoko as a potential Salah replacement for next season, but Liverpool are still sleeping and Bakayoko might join Arsenal instead because we're selling on potential transfer targets.

LFC were stupid to let 11 yr old boy to leave and handed him on a golden plate to Everton. And now LFC have to pay a heavy price to get him back almost at the expense of quansah. Everton deserve the big chunk of money for making him what he is today. John Henry doesn't spend 100mil out of his pocket but LFC fans have to cover the costs.
