what delights me is these are hard questions that seem to take thatcher by surprise and make her think. and the respect for the kid interviewers comes off in waves. she sees them as conscious, clever, individual thinkers- as the interview goes on, she answers as if they were adults at her level.

She was the worst Prime Minister this country ever had. She ruined the country. She sold everything she can to get money, closed down factories, got rid of Ship making/steel works, privatised essential utilities firms (Gas/Electricity/Water). Under her leadership, state education made a dive and it was at its lowest ebb. As she confessed in the video, kids came out of school with poor education because of her. She cut back on education spending so much in the 1980s. She looked after the rich and looked down on the poor. Introduced the poll tax which was and is hated by the public to this day. She thought she was right and every one else is wrong. She has no issues spending money on the military coz she had that British Empire mentality. She was of a different era who thinks Britannia should rule the world. Glad she has gone. The Tories have a lot to answer for. Aside from Tony Blair's big mistake (Iraq), which cost him his job and popularity, he spent loads of money on education to bring it up from the bottom of the pits by 1998. Education, Education, Education.
