The police are now investigating allegations that some signatures submitted by the MK party were forged. The IEC says it's hoping that the investigation can be expeditious-as the matter is crucial for the conduct of free and fair elections. But what are the chances the investigation will be done before elections? And if it's concluded after elections, what are the consequences if the allegations are proven? And now that it's clear the system can be corrupted, should the IEC reconsider this system of signature submissions? The electoral commission speaks to us tonight.
Is the Multi Party Charter crumbling? Action SA is unhappy with parties in the MPC-that have expressed the willingness to co govern with the ANC. Action SA leader Herman Mashaba join us.

Unfortunately Mashaba has no future in politics. How can you anchor your party on your relationship with a falling party like DA? Particularly because DA itself is weighing working with ANC. How can you commit to a project where the initiators are openly entertaining other options?? He can learn a few things from BOSA and Rise Mzansi. Although they're most likely to get in bed with DA AFTER elections, not doing it before makes them an independent alternative. ActionSA is literally another AgangSA waiting to happen. It's a shame because he did so well in local elections. He was supposed to stand alone and aim for a 6% or so and start planning for 2029. He's in too much of a rush to be in National power and Unfortunately his proximity to DA will be his downfall.

It's not about the DA the goal of them joining was not to lose the individuality as a party but to gather votes to unseat the goverment because no party today can single handedly unseat the anc outright I also don't like them especially after what they did to mashaba but his goal is to unseat them

DP is a parasitic party, it used the same strategy to rejuvinate itself by calling for a Democratic Alliance with other parties. It wants to rejuvinate itself again with a new party called MPCfor Democracy and occupy almost all the important positions. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@Lwazi1 It is about the DA, the Multi-Party Charter is the brainchild of the DA. It brought it as the Moonshot, but other oarties claimed that the DA did not consult them, it was after consultancy with other parties and the Moonshot became MPC.

@@Lwazi1 Well they've lost their individuality. They are committed to the project, but DA is not. Who's fooling who in there? Unseating the ANC is DA's goal, not ActionSA's. Their goal, as a new player on the National stage, was supposed to be debuting with atleast 6% and deal with issues of Coalitions after. Anyone that's sick and tired of DA's racism has no reason to vote ActionSA now. And that's unfortunate because people are not only tired of ANC. So like I said, anchoring your entire election campaign on a pre-election pact is going to be the end of ActionSA

Mashaba is an achiever and for now it remains to be seen after the elections if the ActionSA will still hold the ground like the EFF or scrumble like COPE. But I cannot take anything away from Mashaba’s dedications and hardwork,though these are the important values, however, they are not the only tools needed in politics.

After the initial rejection of the MK party by the IEC why did they then decide to reconsider..... did they advise the mk party to go back and add on more names to their credentials? I have always wondered how a political that was non-existent a few months ago can suddenly just blow up literally in our faces??? their noise and rapid growth was rather Questionable. Shame man..... the desperation for Power. nc....nc...nc...!!!! Anyone voting for this party must really have their minds Read! Yho! Ngamaqili ababantu.... Why not look at this from the view that MK Party is a victim and the ANC and puppet masters as perpetrators, using state and every means to stop or discredit MK Party by all means necessary. Business mentality is necessary in politics, however, it is not the only tool for success. Only if there was political science crush course for anyone who wants to venture in politics, I think that Mashaba would be equppied, actually not only him. Some of us were lucky that we grew up in exile sithol’ umrhabulo.
