Man, I used to hate pulling weeds and hoeing. Forty years later, I love gardening. Thats when I started watching you back in 2011 or 12. I remember watching your gardening evolution for this system.

I would like for you to have a course on building a trellis system for beans, cucumbers, tomatoes ect.... the cheap if you can. Larry you're a good man! Thanks for all you put out on KZfaq and all the valuable info you put out on the Facebook group. I've learned so much from your content this is my 3rd year growing veggies doing the rain gutter system and this is the first year I tried your personal grow bags instead of the walmart bags and man the roots love your grow bags. They are busting out of the bags floating around the bottom of the water and growing so tall the plants are falling over because of the weight of the plant and tomatoes. Thanks for all you provide.

Tobacco crop is going great! The oriental tobacco seems to do the best in the Rain Gutter Grow System because it's a more delicate plant, and smaller too. The regular Burley and Kentucky Brown which are over 6 feet tall, seem to like being in the ground-probably for the anchoring effect. I think the 13 foot sunflowers are the same way, and need the extra support from their roots. Tobacco has turned out to be easier than growing tomatoes. I live in Illinois, which means I have plenty of time to grow the tobacco and then sun cure it. Grow tobacco once and you have seeds enough forever and seeds for all your friends. a gardening university would be awesome Larry. I did not know about the tomatoes and strawberries having ever growing and June blooming . Would be awesome to be able to study different topics all in one place. How long do the bags last that you have ? I’m in Florida and the Walmart bags disintegrated within a four months. Please do the university. The world needs this especially since the corona virus. Also sell heirloom seeds Larry. You are an endless amount of knowledge. I’m so glad you quit smoking. We need you around for a long time! God bless. And thank you for sharing!

40ozFood I really hate to hear that. When listening to him in this video it was obvious he was struggling with his breathing. And worried for him when he said he smoked three packs of cigs per day for 50 years. It’s a very hard habit to break. We have lost a very entrepreneurial spirit. He was always thinking and inventing. I love that! My father was the same way. Necessity is the mother of invention. His need to not want to be tied at the hip with his garden led to a great system that can help feed the world with their very own garden forever. Is someone still going to continue selling the parts for his system in a package deal as he had started doing? I. Hope so. God rest his soul. God loves to fellowship with us in the garden I know God is enjoying spending time in the garden with Larry. He and his ever changing ideas will surely be missed. Thank you for letting me know.

Talk about the tomatoes there is a new project called the dwarf project that would be perfect for RGGS. They are indeterminate tomatoes that grow to be 3-4 ft tall. There's been a ton of work on them for the last 5 years or so and 60+ varieties that taste and grow amazing.
