Thanks a lot for this very helpful... I'm a little confused and I hope that you would be able to help me. So the thing is, what if I have two different lead magnets and each of these lead magnets lead people to two different pages after they sign up, can I still use the same standard event for both pages or do you suggest I use a custom conversion to track these pages individually.

Hi Allie, thanks for this great video and content. I have one thing not clear. I use Elementor as website Bulider and i want to track the event "CompleteRegistration" on my download site. Great Content. One question though, I set up an event ( add to cart on my add to cart button) its receiving data although when I use the Facebook test event for add to cart, it comes up as just a page view when I hit the event button? Does this mean it's not tracking properly ?

Great detailed and granular breakdown of the whole process. Only thing that raised a red flag was around 9:53 regarding counting a button click as a lead event. Technically yes but really isn't the redirect page (thank you or confirmation) where the lead event should be counted?

Hey Allie, in the example you did you say you didn't install the code on the entire funnel's settings, only on the individual page. Are you installing the code on each page you're tracking an event, plus the event code below it?

Probably 1 of the best videos I've seen. I'm no pro, but note, you MAY want to edit, "you certainly don't need 2 pixels in the real estate example..." but you would want 2 pixels when it comes to audiences (for us, it's a B2B pixel tracked on landing/business pages, Consumer Pixel tracked sitewide) if using an alternate integration (ie. Hubspot or other list synch tool) THO, I do have questions if events are redundant on fb vs google tag manager... any help!?!?

Hi, installed the pixel and set up the event. The event is showing up as active my events manager, it's green. However, I am only seeing pageview in the pixel helper. I did not set the event manually. I used the set up helper and selected to track the submit button. Is it save to assume the set up was done correctly even though its not showing up in the pixel helper?

Im trying to set up on Wix & when I go to input manual code in my header it adds the pixel but it doesnt set it up properly & I am unable to set up an event trigger because of it. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but Ive been stuck on it for the last few days. Can anyone help? The vid was great by the way. Clear & concise. I want to watch more of this content but I cannot get past setting it up lol

Facebook pixel standard event with and without event setup tool: Event setup is used for website builder. Manually paste code if it's funnel builder. In case you don't show separate ty page and only success msg, obviously use only event setup tool. Always prefer pasting code instead of event setup. Event setup may not show in pixel helper too, plus glitches.

So, do we have first to set up a FB pixel code to our wordpress websites and then set up CAPI? Because i saw, that when setting up CAPI, i can create a pixel and then connect it with the facebook pixel plug in.

You will have that option in wordpress, but not everyone will be able to do that. I personally prefer to set up the pixel first and then connect it to make sure I've done all the steps listed in this video, but you can opt for that if it's easier for you based on what you're using!

Can you have multiple of the same event pixel under one Ad Account / Main pixel? Like if you have various separate brands in Ad Account A and you have the main Pixel A installed on various websites. You want to set up purchase pixels for a few brands under Pixel A but want them to be different so if Brand B and Brand C are running ads at the same time, we don't want Brand B getting purchase pixel data from Brand C.

you can set up multiple Pixels even if it is under the same Ad Account. Each Pixel can track different sets of Events.s. in your case, you will want different Pixels setup for every Campaign you are running. make sure you're tracking separate events from each campaign you are running for each Brand. keep things clean.

No, I just show both ways to do it because some times the event setup tool doesn't work. I prefer to use the manual code, but some people prefer event setup too! Both give the same result, as long as EST works!

I add the pixel code and then use CAPI for my event tracking. The pixel manually will not account for browser events on ios products if they've opted out of tracking (which is most everyone)

I've put in my pixel and using the extenstion on google, its working. But the standard event in the pixel doesnt. On my google extension i get this warning We detected event code but the pixel has not activated for this event, so no information was sent to Facebook. This could be due to an error in the code, but could also occur if the pixel fires on a dynamic event such as a button click. Has anybody had this?

How do i track the event manually ?...I created my pages with elementor. The Facebook event setup tool has refused to highlight for tracking some very important buttons on my landing page built with Elementor on wordpress.....I need your help!

You want to install the events manually following the steps in the video on the pages someone would hit AFTER clicking the button. That's the real measure of what someone is doing. The event setup tool is glitchy and doesn't always work in every scenario, which is why I prefer using the manual code whenever possible.

You need to install the pixel code manually as shown in this video. Put the main pixel code in the header of the HTML, then use something like CAPI or Event Setup Tool to track your events (I Prefer CAPI after ios 14)

Very good video! ❤ But I've been facing an issue here... Could you please give me some help? I have done all the Pixel installation procedure and selected all the events I want to register in my sales page. I have also done all the API configuration and selected the events, I have configured the pixel on the platform I sell my online course... The domain is already verified.... Theoretically everything is ready. However, when I check the pixel in my Pixel Helper it says it is installed, but when other people check it says no pixel has been found. My pixel is not registering the people who view the page.... I've been facing this issue for 3 weeks now =(

Hi, another great video! Awesome. Due to ios update, do we have to set up FB pixel code and CAPI at the same time? It's recommended by FB. However, I'm getting deduplication issues and have no idea how to fix it. FB guide is really complex to follow. I tried to search in KZfaq but haven't found any vudeo regarding to this. Can you make a video about this??? Deduplication issuse fix.

You need to have your code on the pages/site and then you can set up CAPI. You can't set it up without the code. You just don't need to do the standard events if you're using CAPI! You shouldn't be getting duplicated events if done correctly. Happy to answer any other questions on this!

@@RonaldShin Pageviews are not a conversion. It's just tracking page views. Your conversions for CAPI will be things like schedule, lead, purchase, complete registration, submit application, etc. It depends on the platform your site is on how you implement it specifically but CAPI is for tracking pixel conversions, not your overall web tracking.

This whole thing is really confusing me I am using tone Den I have put my pixel code into the correct section on tone den but Facebook ads just consistently tells me I need to verify my pixel by putting the code into the website which I cannot do because it is via tone den all it lets me do is put my pixel code in which I have already done
