Facebook whistleblower reveals identity on "60 Minutes"

A former employee, who filed anonymous federal complaints against Facebook, will reveal her identity on "60 Minutes" on Sunday night. CBSN technology reporter Dan Patterson joins Elise Preston to discuss the new accusations against the social media giant.

I quit my Facebook account over 5 years ago, because of their Sinister motives against my personal opinions. I quit Twitter around the same time. I'm in my 70s and I don't have time to play games.

About that. In my computer settings I turned off/disabled all avenues that were tracking me. There were a lot. Damn near every setting had some way of tracking. Anyhow did that 4 days ago and that suggested for you BS is gone. Before it it went belly up this morning, still no sign of it.

I made groups like they wanted, and grew them large, the biggest one 100k members. Then they perminantly suspended my account without warning, and the message literally said "We've determined that you are not eligible to use facebook. This decision is final. Unfortunately for safety and security reasons, we can't give you any additional information as to why your account was disabled." And even though I had dozens of friends as admins, somehow all the admins are blocked from the group and someone I've never met is admin now and selling merch to the group.
