@@MD-qz1wx I think what he was getting at was that most world leaders in developed countries don't tell lies to such an extent as to have every single quote checked for truthfulness. while some lies, willful or ignorance based, are expected. most leaders in developed nations don't lie as often as they breath.

@@stormkiller8018 With the exception of the past 4 years, I believe that was true of even the American leadership. I would expect them to be purposely untruthful for certain things that would otherwise be a security risk. But, mostly, I would hope they would be truthful. However, it is the responsibility of the citizens to question leadership and to keep them aware that we are paying attention to them, making them be accountable for their actions and statements, and holding them to promises they make. Politicans work for the people.

The GDP grew at an annualized and seasonally adjusted rate of 33.1% between July and Semptember. Maybe he's not likeable, but he know what he's doing

@@cocodjambo GDP says nothing about the distribution of income. A society in which 100 people have annual incomes of $50,000 has GDP of $5 million and, not surprisingly, GDP per person of $50,000. So does a society in which 10 people earn $500,000 and 90 suffer with nothing at all. Few people would look at those two situations and call them equivalent. GDP per person tells us what happens to the average person, but behind the average lies a large variety of personal experiences. He knows what he's doing but for his own good. The fact that you are using a single metric to highlight his impact is kind of misleading as well. Forget likability, the guy blatantly lies and despite the abundance of evidence against him, you hide all that under "likable". Einstein was right about human stupidity being infinite.

Then, half of year into the pandemic, we have the best GDP growth since 1950, recovered half of the 22 milion jobs lost in april and march, and of course, that is all due to Obama.
