I am older and live in the US. I remember, as a child, buying shoes at a similar factory near me. Also, I remember watching my grandmother making similar clothing for her children. Thank you for the excellence in presenting an excellent trade.

The luxury bag restoration is not only a specialized trade but an art form as well. If only more people understood how much work goes into all these trades, can you imagine how much less throw out there would be, and how much more pride there could be in the trades again?

Another excellent video by Factory Monster. These shoes are a world away from mass-produced junk like Nike. I sometimes produce hand made shoes without any complex machines - partly due to expense and partly due to my stubbornness - and watching professionals follow the same process armed with years of experience and skill, and the magnificent mechanical assistance that machinery brings is inspiring me to stop playing around with remote control helicopters so I can go and make a few more pairs of shoes.

평소 수제 튼튼하게 야무지게 오래 신을수 있게 견고하게 만든 구두 운동화 보면 엄청 손이 많이 들어간다는 것은 아는데. 이처럼 일줄이야 😮 와 거의 종합예술 합작품 같네

오래전 어렸을때, 부모님 두분 다 수제화 공장에서 일하셨죠ㅎㅎ. 어린마음에 부모님 보고싶어서 공장에 찾아가기 일쑤였고.. 남들은 가죽냄새, 본드냄새 싫어했지만 저에게 그 냄새들은 엄마에 대한 향수였죠ㅎㅎ.
