Medical professionals will absolutely not turn you into the police for being under the influence of something. Last year I had a really bad shrooms trip, I was having a lot of physical reactions so I thought maybe something was wrong with the shrooms (it wasn't, I was literally just having a bad trip). I pay my utility company for free ambulance rides so I went ahead and called (thinking I was dying). The hospital gave me fluids, told me to be more careful, then sent me on my way 6 hours later when I was no longer tripping. Additionally, this extends to vets. My dog ripped open a plastic bag to get to some white chocolate edibles when I was at work, I came home and thought she was seizing as I'd never seen a stoned dog before. The vets never even mentioned reporting it to the police, they understood it was an accident.

I think the first one is true. I had paramedics called on me in 2019 when I was suffering from really bad heat exhaustion and I was asked if I had taken any drugs (I had no idea what was wrong at the time and they were trying to figure it out). I truthfully said no and they said that, if I had taken drugs, I wouldn’t get in trouble if I told them because they just wanna know what’s happening and how to help.
