He had to get his throat cleared every week and got feed threw a syringe and he survived because his main artery thingy wasn't cut off and his brain stem didnt come out with the rest of the brain. i saw someone wondering about locked in syndrome and if it was actually real. yes it is, locked in syndrome is where you’re fully aware of everything happening around you but physically cant do anything. you can still get itchy, but only move your eyes. you will be hospitalized and every 90 mins a doctor will flip you over to prevent bedsores. theres not many survivors and i think only 500 people have it across the us. if u want to hear about a messed up version of it, i recommend listening to the rotten mango podcast about lacey fletcher
