Fading Steps
- Set in guideline with lever closed
- Lever open set in next guideline
- 1 guard lever open next guideline
- 1.5,2,3,4 guard blend up
- Clipper over comb if needed
- Blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
- Continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard 3qtr
- Blend first guideline w zero, lever closed
- Open lever half way, continue blending
- Continue blending with lever open
- Do any touch up work
- Use trimmers to take out bottom hair
- Use electric shaver
- Do any line up with trimmers
- Shave with straight razor

I started a new shop that has a total different clientele base then the fast pace commission shops I am use to the past 5 years it’s a good thing the cuts keep me learning and your videos help sooooo much I’ve finally got it down w no flaws lol I might dream about these videos bc I watch them 24/7 but I got it down ! I was wondering if you could do a low bald fade but a guard of like 5 on top detailed ? Sounds stupid but I’m messing the line up to much to type to explain lol thanks tho love your videos

What I’ve found better for holding the shears is instead of placing your thumb in the hole I lay it on top. It’s more comfortable for myself. I’m not sure if it’s the proper way of holding it but I’ve been watching a lot of European barbers and that’s how they mostly place their thumbs. Also the quality of the haircut is excellent as always

Question I don’t use a clipper with and open lever like the wahl you use I use clipper with the four click or five click levers. So for someone like me that uses a four click clipper what would be the 3/4 position when taking out the half guard line and the #1 open line ? I would assume it one click from open but I’ve tried and it doesn’t take away the guideline

Very clean ! Me personally I’ve never been a fan of enhancement’s wasn’t a thing when I started cutting .. I’ve always kept up with styles and techniques , that wasn’t and just isn’t my twist.
