What a great inspiration for younger generations :) Hope he stays true to his words. The problem isn't shortage of doctors, the problem is that the medical system is completely corrupted. There's no incentives for doctors to work in rural areas or underprivileged areas, as the money is in private practices, and rich areas... I'm not blaming the doctors for choosing to work in better paid practices or areas, who wouldn't, I'm blaming the government for allowing this to happen and bending to private corporations. This is happening worldwide.

There’s a shortage in most professionals currently! Probably because there is no strive for critical roles anymore - doctors, engineers, trades. Instead kids want to be influences and KZfaqrs.

We scream that we need medical professionals in yhis country, and then make it almost impossible to get in and learn or practice. I have a friend from India who has been practicing medicine for over 15 years. $20k and 3 years later...still unable to find a job. Our systems are so illogical and broken.

Real title, Fahad got a 48 on his entrance exam and had to try again. Kind of boring title, but accurate.
