@@soprecise7993 I play mostly Mishimas and Jin and I would pick Miguel again because of the buffs. Mishimas, especially DJ have this phantom hitbox to their jab. It never misses, it's as long as a lanky boii. Imagine the frustration of playing Jin most of the time and missing your most important poking jab string 2,1. It fucking whiffs all the fucking time. Not exactly. You can't sidestep and can barely sidewalk a couple of his knee ender variations (non-charged version). At least with most characters, I would think Lili, Zaf and others with great sidestep can, but for most characters, it's at best, very tight timing and not consistent. So you will have to interrupt, or use super sidestep right moves like AK's b1+4. Also the hellsweep variations track, and it's depending on the string whether SSR is a proper option. Design seems to promote getting reads on when to interrupt with a fast CH move or launcher or just choose to block and confirm charges, then sidewalk to his back. Cause like why spend the effort confirming the exact string variations and whether it's even sidesteppable, when you will probably get the same or better damage simply by pressing bottoms.

Once you get used to seeing them, you can sidestep duck or low punch many of those or punish the unsafe options. Right now he's very new so it'll take some getting used to.

atuls55 you’re right you can sidestep duck but he’s also got an option to stop that with the mid knee ender of his string which tracks pretty well on both sides and is safe on some of his other string (I think). I labbed the character yesterday and some of his shit just left me in disbelief lmao but like you said he’s a new character so it’ll take time getting used to

@@user-xx3uz9pu4u I haven't looked at all of his string options yet but I think his 3 hit knee string the last hit is unsafe and the df1,4 is -13 unsafe. He has to have something to stop you from shutting down all of his mixups though, and if that option is unsafe it makes it riskier for him. I would mix between sidestep duck and launch, low punch, magic 4 (or some other fast counter hit launcher) or just stand and block. It's a mind game. His 1+2 grab is harder to break than others I've noticed.

His strings are all interruptible, all based off basic 1-2 attacks then the mixup command. He is pretty realistic to actual muay thai moves even in the way the combos work. Basically just like in muay thai controlling the middle with body kicks and knees and keeping your opponent at range of your kicks is priority and Fak is the same in playstyle. Aggressive opponents can usually direct the action, sidestep and ducking are your go tos against him, most of his lows are highly punishable. But that's just what I noticed, I'm also not very good at the game.

Had no problems busting him up with Raven. Though I kept expecting him to do Tiger Knee and Tiger Uppercuts :)

The throw can be broken and it's not a bug, the break window is just smaller like they were in older tekken games. This might not have been intentional but it's definitely not a "bug" or "cannot be broken".

If you can give me examples of other martial arts that involve grappling with striking and control that includes hand positions for elbows and upper body control to open paths for knees, along with knee shields, pummeling, trips, sweeps, etc. there are full styles in Muay Thai based solely on the clinch. Like I don’t understand what you think Muay Thai is. Tell you what go train it and let me know what they focus on the most in training. That’s how I know you don’t actually understand Muay Thai in any way. There are complex systems for knee fighters, complex systems for elbow fighters. Even Muay Fimeu styles are based around destabilizing opponents in the clinch with insane reflexes and balance. Now tell me please how I am misunderstanding the clinch in Muay Thai, then explain to me how other striking arts utilize grappling in striking fluidly. I’ll wait
