AKA: Slow start means that it should NOT be an anime. If they DUMPED the first season for us to BINGE and we had GUARENTEES of more seasons, then people might give it a better chance

I really liked this show in season 1, didn't even know season 2 started tbh. I wish there weren't censorship bars, but iirc that was in the manga too

I dropped it because the girls annoyed me much like how I dropped Quintessential Quintuplets for the same reason. Every story isn't for everyone, yet some people feel the need to call a show trash just because they didn't personally like it. Even if I think the goddesses are absolute jerk offs I'm happy the people that liked it are getting a season 2.

My wife and I are enjoying this anime. We find the characters and story likable.

The cafe terrance and it's goddesses season 2 was decent harem wholesome romcom anime for me and i give this anime 7.7 out 10 rating .

Well I really liking it, I bang all season one in two days and it was really fun. The characters are really interesting and fun, all the girls have their own personalities and motivations that are very good explored, the comedy is good as well, I really like that they see themselves as a family, that gives me comfort for the four girls that will not marry him in the future because they will still have each other as a family. I’m watching season 2 now, there are 2 episodes and I’m having a good time, they are giving a bit of lore that is very good and off course, they are giving giving more development to the girls and the MC which is good, Overall is a 8.8 out of 10.

This has been stated elsewhere and I agree, The Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses is a superior version of The Quintessential Quintuplets. The main cast is much more enjoyable. The girls have nice quirky personalities, they try to help the main protagonist, and they are hotter. I also like Hayato the protagonist himself. He isn't perfect but he has mature moments like with helping best Akane's family issues, he isn't dense, and has his fun pervy moments. I also appreciate the adult setting of trying to run a business.

I wonder if they will go the "common route" that harem shows take and make the MC stay with the first girl that appeared (aka the pink haired one in this case) or if they will spin things a little, iirc the only thing i disliked was that the MC was usually more in the wrong side than the girls, and of course he got hit by them way more than he hits back as well

this is a charming harem anime. lots of fan service, but a lot of other things going on.

Slow burnner? Dude they admit they like him in 1 season😂😂 harems take like 30 seasons for a confession tons of fake confessions and nonsense just a ton of fake drama which I argue makes that a slow burner more then this

I for one really enjoy this series. I like the manga. I really like the voice actresses. I like the clichés. I like the boobs. I'm a simple man.

I read the manga up to the point were the rivals come in then stopped for s2. S1 was fine ill watch S2 when it finish airing. This is def much better than quins. So long as my least favorite girl doesn't win in the end (blue hair) like my least fav in quin did (knowing she won I dropped it) ill be content.

I just didn't like the behavior of the girls in the first couple of episodes and decided it wasn't for me. I generally stick with shows much longer. I'll probably go back to at some point.

Yeah I dropped this anime after ep 4. I'm fine with having crappy characters who grow over the course of the series (it's actually why I liked Rent A GF at first, though I felt like the author ruined it later into the series and I dropped that one as well) but anyways where my problem came in was that across the four episodes I never found any likable or redeemable qualities in the mc or the girls. You don't have to show those things right away, I didn't have any problems with the first 2 episdoes for that reason but by 3 and 4 I was expecting for the show to give a little moment to each girl or at least one girl each episode to reveal their likable trait. That way I would have something to latch onto in order to want to see each of them grow. It's almost like an "I can fix her" kind of thing. But I just didn't see any of that which lead me to stop watching because I didn't want to watch a show where I had zero interest or care in any of the characters. And I found it kind of interesting that you never mentioned the girls having good qualities. When you were saying that people where focusing on the negatives of the girls I was expecting you to rebuttal with their good aspects but you didn't and proceeded not to for the rest of the video. Which would leave me to believe that they either never have any good qualities or those aren't shown until much later i.e. season 2 or 3. In both cases it just makes me glad I stopped watching at ep 4 as both of those outcomes make for unrelatable/unlikable characters. Now it may actually be better in manga form as you can easily read through the content of 2 or 3 seasons quickly in order to get to those likable qualities but for an anime that is much to long of a wait. It's why you don't make a manga into an anime you adapt a manga into an anime. They are two different mediums and what works in one may not work in the other. I hate to say this as I normally hate when animes skip or condense content but this appears to be a case where they should have condensed the content of 2 seasons into 1. I came into Cafe Terrace hoping it would be another QQ but alas it was not.

As someone that didn't make it very far into this I dropped it because of the censorship. Also the girls killing the grandma is genius, I'm making that my head cannon as well now

i do want to ask if you do put a guy and lodes of girls in a room for a long time will the girls full in love with you. what do you think as you have a friend who looks into stuff like that i might be so wrong but what do you think it could happen
