I've rewatched this anime a couple of times, and I gotta be real. I fing love it more each tome. Ninym? One of the Best of Best Girls. MC? Utter lunatic, and it works! The plot is a blast and insane. The comedy is terribly clever usually. I'll defend this one any time.

I’m currently watching “Cafe Terrace and it Goddess” and I’m loving it very much, when I notice it was going to be another season, I search if you made a video about it and imagine my surprise when I see you being a fanboy of the manga. So I give it the opportunity to watch it, I’m not into harems but this one has like a nice ring to it you know. The Characters are very well written, the motivations of the characters to the story is simple but very effective, the comedy is amazing, and the OP uuuuh the OP is just peak. Another outstanding anime that I enjoy re-watching every few months. I am really glad you liked it and would love for you to cover the light novels. As for the other anime that is similar, I think you must be talking about is How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom. This is also on my permanent re-watch list lol. Also outstanding. I know you have a full plate pretty much nonstop but you definitely have a knack for covering a lot of anime and especially the ones I love.

For me the Nanahoshi’s breakdown and the Norn shut-in arc were standout episodes. And the depressed magician arc is the one I'm most personally attached to, but unfortunately the anime didn't quite do it justice.

I have no issues, however I wish that Ellie said more or gave a different talk. It just seemed far to simple for her and kinda of felt like a crappy “go for it Ruby.” Speech instead of a more complex issue that I thought she would have more of an opinion on with her being the way she is. Also Norm hurt Roxy way more than the dungeon did with that “she looks like she’s my age.” Also loved the backed handed complement Syphie gave to Roxy.

I think part of why Sylphie, aside from not following the Millis teachings, is so accepting of Roxy, is... she was always around Paul, Norn, Aisha, Lillia, and Zenith before the mass teleportation. She knows what sort of guy Paul was, scummy but loyal, and she knows the same applies to Rudeus. He's scum, but loyal scum.

Mushoku Tensei *is* wish fulfillment, but it's a bit more nuanced than that. The wish that is fulfilled isn't having a wife and kids (though that is certainly what Rudy wanted), the wish that was fulfilled was the opportunity to *earn* that life.

The """critics""" are not able to understand a mature story. They assumed that MT is a generic wishfulfillment isekai and they NEVER questioned whether this assumption was actually true. It's as simple as that. The haters just aren't smart enough to understand this story.

Remember anime viewers Hitogami is an utter piece of garbage and question everything he says. He is working toward a result he wants not what Rudeus or any person he interacts with wants. If you only knew his backstory you would probably agree.

making fun of something is okay, jokes are never a bad thing, but that does not mean you should not take time and effort to try to understand what the character(s) are going through, understand how they got to that point, understand why they are at that point, and if you cannot empathize with them, at least understand on a logical and emotional level why things are as they are. But yes, most creators or fans do not wish to delve deeper into any show, especially in anime, as they take it as light entertainment; they do not want to be challenged with difficult choices, dilemmas, or characters. they just want to consume content and then consume the next content. The average creator, like the average viewer, simply does not have, or does not wish to have, the capacity to understand art, like anime, on any deeper level whatsoever. And while I can anguish over that, it simply is what it is, especially with the newer generations.
