Twilight that far north in summer lasts like 2 hours before dawn and after dusk so you don't get real night time there. I really want to experience that one day!

This is one of "my" webcams, it's one I check pretty regularly and have for years, I've even got a link to it on my website. Thanks for posting this, a time laps from that cam, especially on the solstice, is pretty cool! One day I hope to be on that cam, along with my Studebaker pickup, after driving up there from North Carolina!

I spent some time in Fairbanks and that's one thing that drove me nuts. It was like it was always 5pm in the afternoon all day long. Really wierd.

I've always wondered how the the daylight progressed during the summer in Alaska...now I at least have an idea! I still want to experience 2 AM sunlight for myself some day though, haha! This was fascinating to watch - thanks for sharing!

Even though it looks like the sun never sets, it actually does but not for very long. There is enough ambient light (twilight) to read a book.
