engines are run in preperation for a ferry flight from Ft Lauderdale,
Florida to Hagerstown, Maryland. Location: Ft Lauderdale Executive

Never left the states during the Vietnam War. Used for training C-123 pilots in Florida. Was never a sprayer.

I flew on a C-123 from Nha Trang to Cam Ranh Bay in 1968.

Rode one of those from Rutland to Loring and back in 1966.

Uses same r2800 engine used in f4u corsair, a26 invader, p47 thunderbolt, Grumman bearcat, c46 commando

If it was used in SEA, check it for dioxin. www.benefits.va.gov/compensation/agentorange-c123.asp (Old Bronco & Phantom maintainer here, but not that old.)
