This is so beautifully produced . I’ve never heard a Gaelic song sang with this type of electronic music arrangement… it just adds this depth that is so epic. This song opened my heart and I feel more deeply connected to my roots. 💚 so moving, thank you 🙏🏼

I recall this being slipped into an Afro Celt Sound System album track - hauntingly lovely. Thank you. Where can we find original lyrics & English translation please (I love to sing along). This Taff loves your Celtic musical manifestations.

Any relation to Russ & Tori Taff? They are longtime family friends of mine, known me since I was in the womb. Known my parents since years before that... Russ was a vocalist in their church before joining Imperials & years later as solo artist. Now he tours on occasion with the Gaithers family

Couple of questions below asking about the instrument being played by Griogair I actually don’t know, but I believe we see Griogair playing a tin whistle in the performance, but I believe we hear an instrument with a reed(s) and a drone/chanter - my guess Uileann Pipes

Dear Griogair, do you also speak or sing in Urse? We've been reading The Lyon in Mourning Vol. 1, 2 & 3 and one of the protagonists, Patrick Grant a Glenmoriston man, who assisted Prince Charles in his skulking in the Isles, only spoke Urse.
