@Nella Vee I know from my friends who live in Natal -ZA, they have electricity shedding and water restrictions. But yet, whereas some homes have baths few have a shower. Many have no toilet, shower or even electricity. Is this justified. I do not think so at all. A shower would save water. Plus TV's and computers run for hours on end in most countries that have them. In my opinion, it is best to live with less and conserve energy. In CH, we do not go short of anything. Yet most Swiss (born to Swiss parents) usually are trained from a young age not to waste - electricity, paper, water, food, money and in fact most things. Conserving is important.

Bolen Fujiwara so beautiful to hear. My friends had little money when they were small so they played together and built tree houses and played simple games like cards. They were a happy healthy family. We think we need so much and yet it’s the opposite eh!

We had power strikes in the 70s so would light "the candle" .!I don't know how but that candle lasted years

We can always bring plants indoors or onto a patio....... with a little creativity a little private oasis can be made.

Nah, we didn't live simple then. Instead of the smartphone, it was the TV running until bedtime. Or a normal computer. The internet existed 10 years ago, just like it does now, and so did moon phases and stress at school and at work. So we didn't sleep much better, either.
